I am a MBACP registered and experienced Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor based in East Hertfordshire. As an Integrative therapist; this simply means I trained in a variety of different therapeutic approaches. The benefit of being an integrative therapist is that I can be adaptable and flexible in terms of what each individual client needs. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 7).
I trained at the Minster Centre, a UKCP registered training institute, one of Europe’s leading integrative counselling and psychotherapy training institutes.
In addition to the above, I have over 25 years of teaching experience across SEND, primary and secondary settings. Working within education has deepened my understanding of child and adolescent development, neurodiversity, family systems and the impact that school experiences can have on emotional wellbeing. I can also offer a creative approach that allows us to explore your experiences in ways that may support deeper reflection, insight and personal meaning. In addition to a traditional office space, I can also offer access to an outdoor Sensory Zen Garden, providing a calm and reflective space to support grounding, emotional exploration and therapeutic work (Please enquire for availability).
My first session
After you make contact, we will find time for an initial 20 minute free consultation. This is an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you might have about the process and how I work.
There is no obligation to continue. If you decide to go ahead, we will agree a regular time. Before starting, I will send you further information and a client agreement for you to read through.
Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes.

This experience informs my therapeutic practice by enabling me to work with sensitivity, flexibility and insight when supporting young people, parents and adults whose experiences have been shaped by educational or developmental contexts.
Practice description
My practice is based in East Hertfordshire, where I provide a professional, discreet and confidential space in which we can explore your story in depth and potentially understand the narratives that have shaped you.
As a registered member of the BACP I abide by the ethical framework, I am committed to fulfilling BACP requirements for continuing professional development and regularly undertake training and supervision.
I can also offer a creative approach that allows us to explore your experiences in ways that may support deeper reflection, insight and personal meaning.
In addition to a traditional office space, I can also offer access to an outdoor Sensory Zen Garden, providing a calm and reflective space to support grounding, emotional exploration and therapeutic work (Please enquire for availability).
My first session
After you make contact, we will find time for an initial 20 minute free consultation. This is an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you might have about the process and how I work.
There is no obligation to continue. If you decide to go ahead, we will agree a regular time. Before starting, I will send you further information and a client agreement for you to read through.
Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes.
