I offer evening and weekend counselling sessions for adult clients and couples. My practice is flexible and accessible, making it easier for clients to find support that fits around work, family, and other commitments.
If you are a counselling or psychotherapy student requiring personal therapy as part of your training, I offer concessionary rates to support you through your course.
About me and my therapy practice
I work in an integrative and trauma‑informed way, drawing on person‑centred principles, CBT‑informed strategies, EMDR, and other evidence‑based approaches to tailor therapy to each individual. My focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and able to explore what is happening in their lives at a pace that feels right for them.
I support clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, workplace challenges, and low mood. I pay close attention to emotional regulation and grounding, helping clients develop practical tools they can use outside the therapy room. When appropriate, I integrate EMDR resourcing or stabilisation techniques to help clients manage overwhelm and build resilience.
My style is collaborative and relational. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely met and supported, while also having the opportunity to gain insight, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move towards meaningful change. Whether working short‑term or longer‑term, I aim to offer a warm, steady presence and a clear therapeutic focus.
Practice description
I offer a calm, supportive, and confidential space where adults and couples can explore what is happening in their lives and work towards meaningful change. My approach is integrative and trauma‑informed, drawing on person‑centred principles, CBT‑informed strategies, EMDR, and other evidence‑based methods. This allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s needs rather than using a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.

My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to counselling. I will invite you to share what you’re experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have. We will talk about what you need from the process and agree together on the best way forward.
I will explain how I work, outline confidentiality, and check what feels comfortable for you in terms of pace and focus. This session also gives you a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you — there is no pressure or expectation to continue if it doesn’t feel right.
If you decide to go ahead, we will discuss practical details such as session frequency, availability, and any goals you may want to work towards. For students requiring personal therapy as part of their training, concessionary rates can be arranged.
My aim in the first session is to offer a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and able to begin the process at a pace that suits you.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a passionate and committed Supervisor, and seeing my supervisees grow and flourish in their work gives me genuine joy. I am warm, open, and approachable, and I value the opportunity to guide counsellors as they develop their skills and confidence in practice.
I work creatively with supervisees to enhance their clinical work, but I am equally comfortable working within the specific modality you use with your clients. I am qualified to supervise in a person‑centred, CBT, or integrative framework, depending on what best supports your way of working.
I am always happy to share knowledge, experience, and skills to help you progress in your professional journey — because when you succeed, I succeed too.
I am happy to work with counselling students on placement, and I pride myself on being encouraging, supportive, and generous in sharing my knowledge and skills. I aim to create a safe, open learning environment where you can grow in confidence and develop your own therapeutic style. I also offer concessionary rates for students who are currently on placement.
Practice description
I always offer a consultation so we can discuss your way of working and get a sense of whether we are a good fit. I will be open and honest with you about my approach, my experience, and whether my style of supervision aligns with your client work and your professional aspirations.
I can tailor my supervisory style to suit your modality, and I will always offer a space where you can explore your practice safely, reflect deeply, and develop your skills with confidence. My aim is to provide practical guidance, encouragement, and honest feedback so you feel supported and empowered in your work at all times.
My first session
In our first session, we will go through the supervision agreement we have both signed, ensuring you are fully clear about how we will work together. I will outline the cancellation policy and make sure our work is aligned with the BACP Ethical Framework at all times.
We will also discuss your client base, your place of work, and your current way of practising, so we can ensure we are on the same page and working collaboratively for the benefit of your clients and their needs. My aim is to support you in developing your confidence, strengthening your practice, and succeeding in your professional journey.
