About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Nikita, an accredited person-centred counsellor with a deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges.
If you’re looking for a safe, calm and supportive space to share your thoughts and feelings, I offer a client-led approach that welcomes whatever is present for you in the moment. My work is grounded in empathy, acceptance and genuine care, allowing you to explore your experiences without judgement. Please feel free to get in touch to see whether what I offer feels right for you.
My therapeutic experience is broad and includes supporting people with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, self harm, career changes, low self-esteem, and periods of feeling generally low or overwhelmed.
I also have particular experience in supporting individuals through fertility challenges, miscarriage, birth trauma, postnatal experiences, and the often complex transition into motherhood. I recognise that every journey is unique, and I offer a compassionate space where you can be heard, understood, and supported.
If you are a parent of a young person who is struggling, or you are that young person seeking someone to listen, I am here to help. When working with children, I use a range of creative and interactive techniques, including colouring, games and other therapeutic tools. Together, we explore feelings and emotions, build resilience, and work towards meaningful therapeutic change.
As a supervisor, I work collaboratively and in a down-to-earth, accessible way that supports your growth and development as a counsellor. I provide a safe space to reflect on your practice, maintain ethical and professional boundaries, stay grounded, and prioritise your wellbeing. Our supervisory work focuses on thoughtful reflection to support both you and your clients.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a current DBS certificate.
