About me and my therapy practice

I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel safe, heard and understood. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever has brought you to therapy at a pace that feels right for you.

As an accredited integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, we will work together to understand the patterns, thoughts and emotions that may be keeping you stuck, while building on your strengths and resilience.

I have extensive experience working with adults and children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, health issues and life transitions. My aim is to help you gain greater self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or want to better understand yourself, I will work collaboratively with you to help you move towards the life you want to live.

Practice description

I am a BACP-accredited integrative therapist, qualified since 2016, with experience working in NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT), specialist services, including The Children's Trust, and private practice.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and life changes.

I offer online and telephone therapy, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is affecting you. My integrative approach means I tailor therapy to your individual needs, helping you better understand yourself, develop effective coping strategies and make positive, lasting changes.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to talk about what has brought you to therapy.
We will explore what you would like support with and what you hope to gain from therapy. I may ask some gentle questions about your background, current situation and any previous experience of therapy, but there is no pressure to share anything you do not feel ready to talk about.
It is also a chance for you to ask any questions about how I work, and to see whether you feel comfortable working with me. Building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process.
Together, we will begin to think about what might be most helpful for you moving forward.
