If a healthcare professional has given you a diagnosis, or if you have tried to diagnose yourself and are left with unanswered questions, I understand—I’ve been there myself. That’s why I know there is always hope. If you want to make changes in your life, I can help you and show you how. This can give you a new outlook—greater self-awareness and the ability to manage your emotions and life in a happier, healthier way.
I specialise in trauma, PTSD, addiction, OCD, anxiety, anger, behavioural change, depression, panic attacks, and relationship issues.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach includes
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. When memories are not fully processed, they can continue to affect how we think, feel and respond in the present. EMDR supports the nervous system to reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming and less emotionally charged.
EMDR can be helpful for trauma and PTSD, as well as for difficulties such as shame and low self-worth, phobias and fears, anxiety and panic, depression, relationship and attachment difficulties, and complicated grief. By working with both emotional and body-based responses, EMDR can help people feel less stuck in the past and more able to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps you understand how your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours are connected. By changing one, we can influence the others. I also use Narrative Exposure Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
