About me and my therapy practice

For over two decades, I have supported individuals in navigating life’s challenges and discovering their inner strengths. My approach integrates Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods, always tailored to meet your unique needs.

I specialise in working with people living with BPD/EUPD, those experiencing intense emotions, navigating toxic or unhealthy relationships, or facing addiction. Together, we can explore what may be holding you back and develop practical skills to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. This may include learning to regulate emotions, improve communication, build resilience, and strengthen self-worth.

I have a particular interest in helping clients:

Recover from the effects of toxic relationships

Work through past experiences

Manage and understand BPD/EUPD

Overcome low self-esteem

Develop a deeper understanding of themselves

Build and maintain healthy coping strategies

I am experienced in working with a wide range of mental health concerns and trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, allowing me to adapt our work to suit you as an individual.

Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and easy to talk to. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where no subject is off-limits. Alongside empathy and support, I also provide guidance and gentle challenge where needed to support meaningful change.

I warmly welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community.

If you feel I may be the right therapist for you, please get in touch to arrange a free initial consultation.

Practice description

What this means for you is that your therapy will be tailored to your individual needs—there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on a range of evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, person-centred therapy, grief and bereavement support, and relationship guidance. This flexibility allows me to adapt our work to what will be most effective and meaningful for you.

I am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and aim to ensure that you feel heard, understood, and valued throughout our work together.

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of empathy, support, and gentle challenge. We will work collaboratively to explore your experiences, identify patterns, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional stability.

My first session

In our first session, we will take time to explore what has brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you would like to achieve. This is an opportunity for me to understand your needs in depth, while also giving you space to ask questions and get a sense of how I work. Together, we will begin to identify clear, realistic goals for our work.

My main focus—and passion—is supporting you to achieve those goals. I work collaboratively with you to develop practical, effective coping strategies that you can use in everyday life. Alongside this, we will work towards building your confidence, strengthening your sense of self, and helping you feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and choices.

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of empathy, support, and gentle challenge. We will explore patterns, build insight, and develop the skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
