Availability
I currently have daytime availability on:
- Wednesday: 10am–6pm
- Thursday: 4pm
- Friday: 2pm–6pm
Sessions are available online or face to face.
If you’re a full-time student (adult) or counsellor trainee, I do have a limited number of sessions at a reduced rate of £40.
I understand that life, study, or emotional energy levels can sometimes make regular sessions difficult. Where possible, I aim to be flexible - whether that means adjusting session length, building in short pauses, or arranging occasional breaks in our work together.
I also offer single-session therapy if you would prefer focused, one-off support. Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss options or check current availability.
About me and my therapy practice
You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, numb, or under constant pressure to “hold it together”.
Maybe you know something isn’t right, but you’re not sure how to put it into words – or you’re tired of having to explain yourself.
I’m an integrative, creative counsellor, and I work in a way that’s collaborative, gentle, and led by you. I won’t analyse you or try to fix you. Instead, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, at your pace.
Some people find it helpful to talk things through. Others struggle to find the right words – or feel disconnected from them altogether. Both are completely okay. Alongside conversation, we can use creative approaches such as small-world figures, metaphor, imagery, or art to help you explore what’s going on when words feel limited or overwhelming.
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. I’ll walk alongside you as we explore what’s been weighing you down, helping you understand your thoughts and feelings with more clarity and compassion, and supporting you to move towards what matters to you.
I have experience working with adults and young people in a range of settings, including universities, schools, mental health charities, Citizens Advice, and private practice. I regularly support clients who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD or autism, and I work in a way that is flexible, affirming, and responsive to individual needs.

Working with Adults
I also work with adults who may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck, or who are navigating life changes. You may have been carrying things quietly for some time and feel unsure where to begin.
I offer the same thoughtful, non-judgemental space to explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe. Together, we can work towards greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.
Working with Young People
When your young person is struggling, it can be painful and worrying. You may notice changes in their mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships. They might seem anxious, withdrawn, overwhelmed, or simply not themselves. Sometimes they don’t yet have the words to explain how they’re feeling — or they’re unsure whether they’ll truly be heard.
I work with young people aged 12+ in a gentle, respectful, and collaborative way. I don’t label or diagnose, and I never expect them to talk about anything before they’re ready. Instead, I offer a calm, supportive space where they can explore what’s going on at their own pace.
Counselling can help young people build self-understanding, confidence, and healthier ways of coping.
Sessions are available online or face-to-face and usually last 50 minutes (£60). If a different length or rhythm would suit them better, we can discuss what feels manageable. I work transparently with parents or carers while carefully protecting the young person’s confidentiality.
Trainee Counsellors & Professionals
I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for trainee counsellors (£40 per session) and provide clinical supervision for counsellors, pastoral staff, and youth workers.
What Next?
If you’re wondering whether counselling feels like the right next step, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I offer a free 30-minute Zoom consultation so we can explore whether working together feels right.
We can take things one step at a time.
My first session
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, so I offer a free 30-minute online consultation (via Zoom) to help you decide whether I’m the right person for you.
This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can:
- Get a sense of what it would feel like to work with me
- Ask any questions you may have
- Share a little about what’s brought you to counselling
- Decide whether you’d like to take things further
I’ll explain how I work and what you can expect from counselling with me. If it feels like I’m not the best fit for your needs, I’ll always do my best to suggest someone who may be more suitable.
If you choose to continue, we’ll agree a time that works for us both and I’ll make sure you have all the information you need, including our working agreement. In our first full session, we’ll begin to explore what’s brought you here and what you’d like to gain from counselling, setting the foundations for our work together.

Availability
I currently have daytime supervision availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Supervision is available online via Zoom or face to face in comfortable rooms in central Reading.
I recognise that supervision needs vary depending on your client group, level of experience, and professional context. I aim to offer a reflective, collaborative space that supports both your clinical work and your professional development.
If you’d like to explore whether we might work well together, I offer a free 30-minute introductory call via Zoom.
About me and my therapy practice
I work as an integrative clinical supervisor, tailoring supervision to you as a practitioner - your level of experience, client group, setting, and professional goals. I aim to offer a reflective, supportive, and appropriately challenging space where you can think clearly about your client work and continue developing with confidence.
I use the Seven-Eyed Model as a guiding framework, allowing us to consider not only your work with clients, but also the wider systems in which you practise. This includes organisational dynamics, relational processes, and the impact of the work on your wellbeing. Together, we can make sense of complex clinical material and the thoughts or feelings that arise when carrying the psychological responsibility of client work.
I have experience supervising trainee counsellors and understand the particular demands of training placements, course requirements, and developing professional identity. I have also provided supervision for counsellors working within an addiction rehabilitation setting, and for youth pastors supporting young people in pastoral contexts.
My background includes pastoral care, mentoring, mental health coaching, and counselling within schools, charities, and private practice - enabling me to support practitioners across a range of environments.
If you’d like to explore whether we might work well together, I offer a free 30-minute online consultation to discuss your supervision needs.
Practice description
I offer one-hour supervision sessions as standard. Depending on your requirements and placement or accreditation needs, we can arrange 45-minute fortnightly sessions or 90-minute monthly sessions. The minimum session length I offer is 45 minutes (£40).
Supervision usually focuses on your current client work and any organisational or professional challenges you may be navigating. Together, we reflect on your clinical process to support ethical, thoughtful practice while also attending to your wellbeing and the psychological demands of the work.
While you are welcome to bring whatever feels most important, I may offer observations, questions, or suggestions to deepen reflection and broaden perspective. Supervision is a collaborative process - supportive, containing, and appropriately challenging.
I offer supervision face to face in central Reading or online via Zoom. A hybrid arrangement is also available if that works best for you.
My first session
If you’re considering working together, I offer a free 30-minute introductory consultation via Zoom. This gives us the opportunity to meet, explore your supervision needs, and consider whether we would be a good fit professionally.
You’re welcome to ask questions about my approach, experience, or the practicalities of supervision. I’ll also invite you to share what you’re looking for in a supervisor and what stage you’re at in your practice.
Choosing a supervisor is an important decision, and there is no obligation to continue. If it feels appropriate to move forward, I will provide a copy of our supervision agreement and we can arrange a regular time to meet, either online or face to face.
