About me and my therapy practice

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be affected by past experiences that still feel present, experience challenges in relationships, or find it difficult to express your needs and set boundaries. At times, you may feel low, disconnected, or not quite yourself. You might feel anxious, overwhelmed, unable to switch off or concentrate, or feel stuck and unsure how to move forward.

Sometimes there is a clear difficulty. At other times, especially in a fast-paced and demanding world, there may simply be a sense that something is not quite right. You might wonder whether your difficulties are “serious enough,” or feel unsure about whether therapy is for you. You do not need to have a clearly defined problem to begin. Many people come for a space to think, to understand themselves more deeply, or to feel less alone with what they are carrying.

Therapy is a collaborative process that supports reflection, growth, and meaningful change. It can feel both challenging and supportive, and many people find it meaningful to have a space where they feel heard and understood.

Practice description

My approach is psychodynamic. Alongside talking about what’s going on, we look at how your experiences, past and present, may be linked. Over time, this can help you notice patterns in how you feel and relate to others, supporting a clearer understanding of yourself.

Combined with this, I am a trained EMDR therapist. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured approach that can help reduce the impact of difficult or distressing experiences. It can be helpful for both single events and experiences that have built up over time. It can support work with trauma that may be held not only in the mind, but also in the body, and continue to affect you in the present.

My first session

I provide short and long-term psychotherapy, counselling, and EMDR to adults in London and online. Sessions, including the assessment, are from £80. Therapy should be available to all, so I offer some concessionary rates available for students, trainees and those on lower incomes.

If you’re curious to find out more, please feel free to get in touch by emailing and we’ll schedule a short free call to discuss next steps. Please note: phone calls are by appointment only.

I am fully insured, my work is professionally supervised, and I remain committed to ongoing training and development.
