Initially I am available to talk with you about your concerns by phone and we can then set a date to meet for a consultation. From there we can arrange a set of regular weekly sessions.
My consulting rooms are based in Highgate and London Bridge.
About me and my therapy practice
Finding the right emotional support at the right time, can be transformative. Often the search begins at a time when life is at a juncture or when relationships are frayed or uncertain
> Following extensive work during the pandemic I am now practicing online with national and international clients.
> Please ask about concessions. I believe strongly that barriers to mental health support should where possible dismantled and therefore, even if my reduced fee placements are full, will do what I can to find the most accessible solution for you.
Details of how I work can be found here at: https://www.heathpractice.co.uk
I am impartial, attentive & determined to know more about your fears, anxieties and uncertainties. To understand how your feelings intertwine with daily life - how you experience them in the past, offering foresight for the future, in the present.
Whether one-to-one Online or In Person , counselling & psychotherapy with me offers a confidential, non-judgemental space in which to explore confused, unsettled or disturbing feelings. To discover what is behind your experiences and to provide insight & hope, where both may be absent.
- I am warm, engaging & deeply curious. I retain particular understanding of chronic anxiety, depression, relational conflict, compulsion & clinical disorders.
- I am an experienced clinician. This means that I am familiar with the process of being alongside someone while we think about those areas of life that feel painful to consider
- I work psychodynamically and so focus on relationship attachment patterns, unconscious experience & processes, developmental history and what occurs between the two of us in the room.
Psychotherapy can be challenging and involves self reflection to identify patterns of relating. It can also be hugely rewarding (& in many instances life changing) in offering greater self awareness; enlivening relationships and indeed all life experiences.
Practice description
> I have a wealth of experience to draw on and work face-to-face, with clients in London, online in the UK and overseas.
- I am a participating member of the reduced fee service of the Number 42 Psychotherapy Service in London Bridge and a longstanding listening volunteer for a National Suicide Prevention Charity.
- Our work would begin by gaining some insight into your particular difficulties, background and circumstances.
- We would then work together to understand the dynamics behind these experiences, in the present and in relation to your past. We would aim to quickly establish how your are suffering and what might be preventing you being relieved of this pain, in your internal world.
- My conceptual approach is psychodynamic and is informed by the latest theories, developmental research and literature.
- From this platform, we will begin to reflect upon your inner emotional world and upon those painful experiences that are perhaps otherwise difficult to connect with.
- I am an avid reader and debater which nurtures an open, engaging perspective, underpinned by a determination to wrestle uncertainty and discover truth. My theoretical stance is informed by several distinguished and extensively published theoreticians. My practice is contemporary and forward thinking.
I am particularly interested in seeing people suffering relational conflict and/or codependency however, I work with a wide range of clients based in the UK and those living and working overseas, such as Expats or English speakers from other countries.
My first session
Our first consultation session would give us the chance to understand the broader picture of your past and present circumstances and also reflect on our emotional experience together.
From here we can decide whether working together would be beneficial.

About me and my therapy practice
Finding the right emotional support at the right time, can be transformative. Often the search begins at a time when life is at a juncture or when relationships are frayed or uncertain.
You may appear to be functioning outwardly — yet inwardly and privately feel terribly anxious, low, or perhaps caught in patterns that keep repeating. Something in your relationships, your work, or your sense of yourself feels unsettled or disturbed.

I have a wealth of experience to draw on and work in-person with clients in London and Online with those UK patients and those overseas.
I am a participating member of the reduced fee service of the Number 42 Psychotherapy Service in London Bridge and a longstanding listening volunteer for a National Suicide Prevention Charity.
- We would observe how you begin to understand the therapeutic relationship, as it develops. This will offer us an historic lens from which to challenge emotional coping strategies elicited by your current relationships.
- From this platform, we will begin to reflect upon your inner emotional world and upon those painful experiences that are perhaps otherwise difficult to connect with.
- My conceptual approach is psychodynamic/psychoanalytic and is informed by a wealth of theory, developmental research and literature.
I am an avid reader and writer which nurtures an open, engaging perspective, underpinned by a determination to wrestle uncertainty and discover truth. My theoretical stance is continuously informed by contemporary clinical literature, continued professional development and experiential training environments. Here we explore what brings you to psychotherapy, your history, and what you hope might change. If we decide to work together:
- Sessions are weekly.
- Same time each week.
- Confidential and consistent.
- A protected space to think freely.
Psychotherapy is not about advice giving or quick fixes. It is about understanding yourself in ways that allow for meaningful and enduring change.
