About me and my therapy practice

As both a woman of mixed race and an American in the UK, I understand how a sense of ‘otherness’ can influence our life experiences. I also seek to acknowledge the importance of intersectionality, diversity, and identity both inside the therapy room and beyond.

My approach to therapy is integrative, which means that I draw from various modalities and theories and that I can build on my foundation training in Humanistic Therapy. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space in which you can talk openly and  in this space, I will support you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.

In addition to my Masters and Education Specialist degrees in Counselling, I have a Masters in Literature, all of which I earned in the United States. I completed my Diploma in Integrative Supervision here in the UK and I also work as a clinical supervisor both privately and with organisations.

About me and my therapy practice

As both a woman of mixed race and an American in the UK, I understand how a sense of ‘otherness’ can influence our work and the importance of intersectionality, diversity, and identity both inside the therapy room and beyond.

My approach to clinical supervision is integrative, which means that I draw from various modalities and theories when supervising. In this space, I will support you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself as a practitioner and of your relationships with your clients.

In addition to my Masters and Education Specialist degrees in Counselling, I have a Masters in Literature, all of which I earned in the United States. I completed my Diploma in Integrative Supervision here in the UK.
