About me and my therapy practice
A Warm Welcome.
Do you need someone to talk with?
Feeling overwhelmed or struggling within yourself, with relationships, and with the world? I know how painful it can be. You do not need to suffer alone. I offer you a warm, safe, and confidential space to talk, to be heard, and to be taken seriously. Together we can find a way through whatever is happening and however you are feeling.
It takes courage to admit there is a problem and to seek help. Your choice to enter counselling could reflect a life-affirming impulse that is seeking to work through the pain and wounds of your past, understand how they are affecting you now, and reveal your more authentic sense of self.
Doing so might help release your inner resources and capacities to be with whatever life brings, and so liberate you to make the changes you need to create a more genuine, fulfilling, and hopeful life, aligned with your own deep innate sense of truth.
I would feel honoured if you invite me to accompany you as we embark on your journey towards understanding, change, and wholeness.
Practice description
I am a full-time MBACP Registered Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (Level 7).
I draw upon a variety of approaches. These include Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, Person-centred, Neuro-Affective, Systemic, Existential, and Transpersonal. I also call upon Philosophy, Sociology, Mythology, and the Arts.
Creative methods are available to support our work, such as free drawing, guided imagery, writing and journaling, dialogic chair work, somatic nervous system and body work, dream work, Jungian archetypes, subpersonalities, visualisations, mindfulness, meditations, and more.
I offer in-person sessions at The Psychosynthesis Trust near London Bridge SE1, or online sessions via Zoom.
£65 per session.
It is important you find the right therapist for you, so I offer a no-cost initial session to experience how it feels to spend time together, and to explore how we might work together.
My first session
This first session is an opportunity to meet and to begin to get to know each other, for you to ask any questions about me or the counselling process, and to talk about what brings you to therapy.
I may ask some questions about your family, relationships, work, and so forth. Please share whatever feels comfortable. This will help bring to light your history and background, and so set the context for our work.
By the end of this first session, you may have a good idea of whether you want to work together and continue with our sessions, or you might want to think it over.
Please feel free to get in touch.
I look forward to hearing from you.
