My practice is grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed approach, offering integrative counselling, supervision, EMDR, CBT, person-centred therapy, and psychotherapy. As a psychotherapist, my role is to work alongside you, supporting your emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing while promoting positive mental health.
My aim is to provide a supportive space where you can identify, explore, and better understand the challenges affecting your overall wellbeing, and begin to address them in a meaningful way.
A central part of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, non-judgemental environment built on mutual respect and collaboration. Together, we will focus on what matters most to you, reflect on your experiences, and develop a clear path forward. We will regularly review your progress and create a personalised plan to support lasting wellbeing and positive mental health.
My vision is to promote emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing through timely and cost-effective counselling. By focusing on early intervention, prevention, and the development of sustainable coping strategies, I aim to support self-management and help you build long-term resilience.

My first session
Our first session is an opportunity to establish a verbal counselling agreement, carry out an initial assessment, gather relevant background information, and begin building trust and rapport. It also allows us to consider whether we are a good fit to work together, and to outline the structure and expectations of our therapeutic work.
I encourage you to read this agreement carefully and to bring any questions or concerns you may have.
The duration of therapy will depend on the issues being addressed, as well as the goals and treatment plan we develop together. Most clients typically attend between 6 and 20 sessions to achieve their therapeutic aims. I work flexibly and support clients in deciding when they feel ready to bring therapy to an end.
In some cases, clients may feel ready to conclude regular sessions but wish to maintain their progress. Where appropriate, and by mutual agreement, sessions can then continue on a fortnightly or monthly basis until they feel fully ready to complete therapy.
