About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling.

You may be coming to therapy because something has happened that has left you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite yourself. This might be a bereavement or loss, a relationship difficulty, anxiety, infertility, or a major life transition. Sometimes people come simply because life feels heavy, confusing, or emotionally exhausting — even if they can’t fully explain why.

I offer a calm, confidential and supportive space where you can speak freely, without fear of judgement. Together, we will slow things down and make sense of what you are experiencing. Many clients find that being listened to deeply — and having space to reflect — can bring immediate relief, as well as clarity and emotional steadiness over time.

Our work will focus mainly on your present life: how you are feeling now, what you are facing, and what you need. Where it feels helpful, we may gently explore your past, your relationships, and the patterns that may be shaping your experience. We may also look ahead to the future, particularly if you are at a crossroads or feeling uncertain about what comes next.

With over 9 years’ experience, I have supported both men and women through bereavement and loss, anxiety, relationship struggles, infertility, and life transitions. I will sometimes reflect back contradictions or patterns you may not yet have noticed — not to criticise, but to help you understand yourself more clearly and open up new ways forward.

Therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to meet life with confidence. My aim is to support you in finding a way through what you’re facing, and towards a life that feels more peaceful, meaningful, and emotionally manageable — even in difficult circumstances.

Practice description

I offer weekly online sessions via Zoom Video Call.  Each session is 50 minutes long.

I recognise that the decision to begin personal therapy is an important step. We take things at your own pace. The sessions are yours, and we will work with what you decide to bring on that day to your session.

Existential therapy is a way for you to learn more about yourself and your place in the world. It can help you, through a challenging period in your life, to find closure, comfort and hope while addressing difficult topics that are part of being human. I encourage my clients to take ownership of their lives, to find meaning and to live fully in the present.
