About me and my therapy practice

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or no longer quite like themselves — unsure how things have come to feel this difficult, or how to move forward.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling.

You might be facing bereavement or loss, anxiety, relationship difficulties or a significant life transition. You may be navigating the emotional impact of infertility — including loss, uncertainty, isolation, or the strain it can place on relationships and your sense of self — or simply feeling that life is heavy, confusing, or too much to hold alone.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can speak openly without judgement. Together, we slow things down and begin to make sense of what you are experiencing. Feeling heard and understood can bring relief, alongside a growing sense of clarity and steadiness.

My approach focuses on your present experience — how you are feeling and what you are facing now. Where helpful, we may gently explore your past, relationships, and patterns shaping your experience, as well as your sense of the future.

With over 9 years’ experience, I have supported people through loss, anxiety, relationship struggles, infertility, and life transitions. I have particular sensitivity to complex emotional situations, including family pressures and the weight of holding things together for others.

At times, I may reflect patterns or contradictions you may not yet have noticed — not as criticism, but to support deeper understanding and new possibilities.

Therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to face life with clarity and confidence. My aim is to support you in finding a way through what you are facing, towards a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.

You are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation and see whether working together feels right for you.

Practice description

I offer weekly online sessions via Zoom, each lasting 50 minutes.

I understand that beginning therapy is a significant step, and we move at your pace. Each session is yours — we focus on what you bring that day, giving space to explore what feels most important to you.

Existential therapy is a way to deepen your understanding of yourself and your place in the world. It can help you navigate challenging periods, find closure, comfort, and hope, and address the difficult questions that come with being human. I encourage clients to take ownership of their lives, discover meaning, and live more fully in the present.

I also offer a limited number of concessionary/reduced-fee sessions for those who would benefit from therapy but need financial support. Please get in touch to discuss availability.
