About me and my therapy practice

Do you find yourself caught in recurring patterns that leave you feeling stuck despite your best efforts? You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or held back by self-doubt. Perhaps you have emotional difficulties, challenges in your work or relationships, or a relentless pressure to cope, achieve, or get things right. You may even understand your difficulties intellectually yet still find yourself repeating the same painful reactions and outcomes.

If so, I can help you uncover the often hidden beliefs, habitual thoughts and meaning-making processes that shape your experience. By developing a deeper awareness of yourself - not simply what you do, but how you feel and think when you do it - you create the conditions for greater freedom, self-trust, and lasting change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and psychologically rigorous. Rather than asking “What’s wrong with you?”, I help you understand the patterns that organise your experience. Together we explore how aspects such as self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, avoidance, or emotional withdrawal may have developed as understandable adaptations that no longer serve you. As these patterns become clearer, new possibilities for living, working, and relating naturally emerge.

Practice description

As a relational Gestalt counsellor, my work centres on raising awareness. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we explore the underlying processes that keep difficulties in place. By bringing these processes into awareness without judgment, therapy creates the conditions for genuine and lasting change.

Insight is then translated into practical experiments that build self-trust, resilience, and greater freedom of choice in everyday life. Alongside talking therapy, I may use body awareness, experiential exercises, role play, visualisation, or internal dialogue where helpful.

My first session

I offer a free initial Zoom consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy and whether we feel we are the right fit to work together.

A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. My priority is to create a safe, thoughtful, and non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. From there, we can begin to make sense of your experience and work collaboratively towards the changes that matter most to you.
