About me and my therapy practice
Sensitive, Affirming Therapy for ADHD, RSD and self-esteem.
Do you want to improve your self-esteem and feel better about yourself?
Are you deeply impacted by rejection or criticism?
Are you, or suspect you are ADHD?
Are you seeking ADHD-affirming therapy to feel compassion and acceptance towards yourself?
Are you looking for a neurodivergent therapist who truly gets it?
ABOUT ME
I started my own therapy as I was fed up feeling depressed and not good enough, I wanted something to change. Sitting with a therapist who I learned to trust and who really listened with empathy and compassion was so powerful for me. I was able to accept all the parts of myself and realise I was actually OK.
"My drive to become a therapist has always been to give my clients the amazing and life changing experience I had in my own therapy."
Practice description
MY EXPERIENCE
As a London based BACP registered counsellor and therapist, I provide sensitive, compassionate, affirming therapy for ADHD, rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), low self-esteem, and the lasting impact of emotionally absent mothers.
I have proven experience supporting a diverse range of clients in private practice, education and the community. I work online so this allows me to work with clients across the UK which means full accessibility as location is not a problem.
I specialise in working with ADHD and daughters who have experienced emotionally absent mothers.
ADHD
As an ND therapist, I have a deep understanding through lived and professional experience of adult/late diagnosed ADHD and can help you process your own ADHD self-diagnosis/diagnosis. An ADHD diagnosis is really just the beginning.
I work in an ND affirming way with ADHD. This means we will work together to see ADHD as a difference not a disorder, I can help you to view yourself and ADHD with compassion and kindness.
DAUGHTERS OF NARCISSISTIC/EMOTIONALLY ABSENT MOTHERS
I have a particular interest in working with daughters of narcissistic/ emotionally absent mothers and the long term impact of childhood emotional neglect on depression and self esteem.
I have experience of working with the following:

Low mood
Low self-esteem
Low self-confidence

High expectations and perfectionism
Anxiety, generalised anxiety, social anxiety

Are you looking for relational, collaborative supervision where you feel valued and supported?
Are you looking for a supervision space for deep reflection and exploration rather than quick solutions or advice?
Are you new to Private Practice and need some help with writing profiles and marketing your business?
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced relational, person centred ND therapist.I have a lot of experience working with ADHD adults and have a particular interest in RSD and working with it from a person centred/relational, nervous system and trauma perspective. I work with the 7 Eyed Model of Supervision.
My private practice is online so I can offer supervision from an online perspective.
Practice description
Have you ever felt unsafe in supervision and left supervision sessions feeling deskilled and judged, not been able to bring all of yourself?
Just like any relationship it is important to find the right fit, feel contained and trust in the relationship.
Supervision with me is very much a collaborative partnership.
It’s collaborative, supportive, and definitely not about being told what to do or feeling like you’re under a microscope. It’s a safe, confidential space where you can bring the real stuff, the questions, the self doubt you don’t always say out loud, the ethical dilemmas, the emotional load, and the business ideas.
Supervision isn’t about being right, It’s about being curious, reflective and a place to breathe.
ADHD
I have extensive experience working with ADHD clients.
Being ADHD myself I understand the challenges of an ADHD brain in private practice and can understand the challenges of executive function/organisation, time management, RSD and potential ND burnout.
Looking for business support?
I have a lot of experience marketing my successful therapy business and can help you set up and market yourself in private practice particularly as an ADHD therapist working in this niche.
I can support with writing profiles and optimising website SEO.
My first session
I am currently training to be a Clinical Supervisor so offering low cost supervision whilst training for 3 months.
The fee will increase once qualified.
I am available most afternoons for supervision.
I offer a 30 min discovery call to discuss what are you looking for from supervision and whether we may be a good fit.
