Availability
I currently offer online sessions via Zoom, Monday to Friday. Online therapy provides flexibility for fitting regular sessions around busy schedules and working patterns, while also giving you more choice beyond your local area.
Evening and out-of-hours appointments are also available.
If you prefer in-person therapy, I expect to have availability from September 2026.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative therapist, drawing mainly on psychodynamic, attachment-based and person-centred approaches. Above all, I shape my work around you: your needs, preferences and pace.
I offer a safe, collaborative and non-judgemental space where you can pause, reflect and feel supported to explore your concerns, connect with difficult emotions, and take steps towards new ways of being.
I hold an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London.
I work with adults of all ages, either on an open-ended basis or for an agreed period of time.
Practice description
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. As an integrative practitioner trained in several therapeutic approaches, I adapt my work to each client’s needs and presenting concerns, drawing on reflective, exploratory or more practical approaches as helpful.
When we begin working together, I may invite you to consider questions such as:
- whether you would like to focus on present-day challenges or earlier experiences;
- whether you would prefer to set specific goals or take a more open-ended, exploratory approach;
- whether you would like more support, challenge or gentle provocation within the therapeutic relationship;
- whether you tend to focus more on thoughts, feelings or both.
Understanding these and other preferences helps me tailor therapy to your needs.
Before training as a therapist, I worked for more than 15 years as an Organisational Psychologist and executive coach in the corporate sector, a role I continue alongside my therapy practice. I may draw on this experience when working with workplace stress, career transitions, redundancy, or questions of self-identity connected to work.
My first session
Before therapy begins, I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute consultation by telephone or Zoom, giving us space to explore whether and how we might work together.
Our first and ongoing sessions are 50 minutes long and usually take place at the same time each week.
In the first session, we can agree mutual expectations, explore any goals or preferences for our work together, and discuss how the therapy process will work.
If we decide to work on an open-ended basis, we will also agree regular review points to ensure therapy remains focused, responsive to your needs, and supportive of progress towards your aims.
