About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I provide professional, caring and confidential counselling for adults, couples and children. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression and relationship problems, exploring ways of coping and improving life.
I am a fully qualified experienced Integrative Counsellor and Registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS)
I adhere to the standards of the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for Counsellors’ and also follow the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work in private practice offering face to face, telephone and online counselling. I have worked with clients across all age ranges, from age 5, up to and beyond retirement. I have the fullest commitment to offering a service which is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner.
During these difficult times I continue to offer support and counselling through online, walk & talk (weather permitting) or telephone sessions to existing and new clients. I aim to provide, to the best of my ability, online counselling opportunities that endeavour to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which you will be given time and space to understand and gain insight into your situation. This process can foster growth and lead to positive change in your life. I will not be in a position to offer advice. There may be occasions where I ask questions about what you have discussed with me. This may be to seek a clearer view of your difficulty or to clarify any misunderstanding in our communication.
I use an ‘Integrative ’approach in my work with clients. This means that rather than specialising in one traditional approach, I seek to combine aspects of different approaches to provide the most effective way of working. I will always explain clearly to you how we will work together and what you can expect.

I set Dandelion Therapy Services with the intention of supporting people when they need it most. Through face-to-face, walk & Talk sessions and/or remote sessions via phone, Zoom or FaceTime you will be accompanied and encouraged on your own personal journey.
My counselling services include short and longer-term private therapy and couples counselling to help with a range of personal issues. My online counselling sessions allows me to be able to help accommodate you wherever you live and makes me accessible to those who may have additional needs, accessibility issues or even time restrictions.
I am a qualified and are registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society and receive regular supervision that meet the requirements for ethical practice.
My first session
Your first appointment will be relaxed and a chance for you to discuss your situation with me to find out if counselling can give you the help you need. During this meeting, the process and expectations of counselling and the relationship between us will be outlined and agreed. I am not there to sit you down and tell you what to do. Instead, I will encourage you to talk about what's bothering you in order to uncover any root causes and identify your specific ways of thinking.What I can help with
