About me and my therapy practice

I work with thoughtful, emotionally curious adults who may understand themselves well, yet still feel caught in overthinking, self-criticism or recurring relationship patterns.

You might know why you respond in certain ways but find that insight alone has not changed how you feel. Perhaps you are anxious or overwhelmed, disconnected from your emotions, or carrying patterns that began much earlier in life.

My approach is warm, relational and deeply attentive. I listen not only to your words, but also to the emotions beneath them, subtle shifts in tone and what your body may be communicating.

Together, we can explore how earlier experiences continue to shape your relationship with yourself and others. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand these patterns more deeply and gradually develop a more compassionate, connected way of being.

Practice description

You may be highly reflective and able to understand your difficulties intellectually, while still finding yourself caught in the same thoughts, feelings or relationship dynamics.

Our work creates space to slow down and become curious about what lies underneath these patterns and where they may have begun. I pay attention to thoughts, emotions, relationships and the body, helping you reconnect with parts of yourself that may once have felt safer to suppress or leave unexplored.

I believe meaningful change happens through relationship: through being listened to closely, understood and accepted without judgement. Over time, this can help you feel less alone, relate to yourself with greater compassion and respond to life with more freedom and choice.

My first session

Our first session is a conversation about you: what has brought you to therapy, what you are carrying and what you need.

You do not need to arrive with the right words or know exactly where to begin. I will listen carefully and compassionately, asking gentle questions to help us understand what may be happening for you.

The relationship between us matters. This first meeting allows you to experience what it feels like to be with me and whether you feel listened to, understood and safe enough to explore more deeply.

I usually work longer term, allowing time for trust, depth and meaningful change. We can discuss what might suit you during our initial conversation.
