About me and my therapy practice

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Career Change Coach based in Cheltenham. I support adults and young people (18+) who are experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, burnout, low self-esteem, disconnection, lack of purpose or a sense of feeling stuck.

You may be considering counselling because you feel anxious, disconnected or unsure about where you are going. Perhaps you are overthinking, people-pleasing, struggling with your confidence, or finding yourself caught in patterns of thinking or behaviour that no longer feel helpful.

There may be a specific challenge you are facing, such as difficulties at work, relationship problems, bereavement or loss. Or perhaps you simply feel that you have lost sight of yourself and want to understand why.

Whatever has brought you here, I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore what is important to you, at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and explore what might help you move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.

Practice description

I work collaboratively and relationally, adapting therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit a particular approach. My work is grounded in Person-Centred therapy, alongside Transactional Analysis and other integrative approaches.

I combine talking therapy with body awareness, guided visualisation and reflective practices to help you notice what is happening for you in the present moment. We might explore patterns in your relationships, the ways you respond to challenges, or beliefs about yourself that may no longer be serving you.

My approach is warm, grounded and compassionate, while also offering gentle challenge when it feels helpful and timely. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, listen to yourself and explore things at a depth that feels right for you.

Alongside counselling and coaching, I create Yoga Nidra (NSDR – Non-Sleep Deep Rest) and guided practices on Insight Timer, a leading meditation and sleep app. These practices can offer additional ways to support rest, self-awareness and calm, whether alongside therapy or simply as part of your everyday wellbeing.
