Practice description
Relational challenges:
I am experienced in supporting those who have encountered challenging relationships with parents, partners, work colleagues or leaders of organisations. I understand the lasting impact of how negative experiences in relationship can impact us, especially where narcissism and control have been a dominant feature. These experiences can leave you feeling confused and isolated. They can also create a sense of imposter syndrome, where you begin to doubt and question your own abilities.
I also understand issues concerning relational breakdown; Such as, divorce, infidelity, communication challenges.
Young adults:
Between the ages of 18 - 30, you will have been navigating a number of transitional stages. Which includes, moving on from education into work. Although this can be a season of uncertainty, it also a time of self-discovery where you may start questioning relationships, boundaries, purpose and identity.
bereavement & loss:
I have a growing interest in supporting those who are navigating a new way of living after experiencing loss. To develop my understanding in this area, I will begin a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy in September, 2026. I have considerable personal understanding of how bereavement impacts identity, change to relational dynamics and uncertainty of the future. Loss and bereavement is not always connected to the death but also when we encounter life changing events; such as, divorce, career change, or when children are no longer dependant on parents.
Identity & faith:
If you are questioning your identity, faith, spirituality; particularly with past experiences within religious or faith communities, I would like to offer you a safe space to explore your experience without an agenda. I believe strongly that when you are unable to live with autonomy within your faith or beliefs, this creates an internal conflict that can cause confusion and distress. Shame and guilt often accompanies this internal conflict.

The first initial session is 30 minutes long and at no charge. This session is for us both to ensure I am the right counsellor for you.
