About me and my therapy practice

I am an Accredited BACP Integrative Counsellor and an Accredited Sight Loss Counsellor. I offer flexible, UK-wide online counselling and telephone therapy, providing accessible support. My practice is rooted in person-centred theory: empathy, respect, and belief in your capacity for growth. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported and able to explore what matters to you. This is an LGBTQ+ affirming space, offering specialized support for neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism) and the complexities of sight loss.

I work psychotherapeutically (short-term and long-term). My specialization is in complex trauma recovery (C-PTSD) and chronic health conditions. Longer-term therapy focuses on deeper self-understanding, identity, and healing relational patterns, especially concerning masking and burnout.

My approach is integrative, using models tailored to you. I incorporate trauma-informed principles, psychoeducation, and parts work to help develop emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience. Parts work involves recognising internal aspects of self (protective, wounded, reactive) for greater clarity and compassion.

My model includes elements of Gestalt, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, and CBT (practical tools).

Sessions are collaborative, tailored to your goals (trauma processing, improved relationships, stronger coping, reconnecting with values). Online/telephone work allows for consistency and flexibility for those balancing health, caring, or accessibility needs. I offer a free 20-minute discovery call.

Practice description

I specialise in complex trauma recovery (C-PTSD) and Neurodiversity-affirming support. Maybe you're living with a chronic health condition, adjusting to sight loss, experiencing burnout, or carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. I offer UK-wide online counselling for major life transitions, identity concerns, and relationship challenges.

I support adults and young people aged 16 and over from marginalised communities. As an Accredited Sight Loss Counsellor and a committed ally, I provide LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiversity-affirming support. My specialization includes people living with disability, long-term health conditions, and sensory impairment. As a Black British Caribbean woman living with sight loss, I understand how complex and challenging life can be and how vital it is to feel truly seen, heard, and accepted in the therapeutic space.

You don’t have to go through this alone. Rooted in Person-Centred principles, I work gently and respectfully, always at your pace. I offer a trauma-informed space where you can feel safe enough to explore how past experiences shape the present without pressure or judgement. You don’t need to explain everything—you can just come as you are. Together, we’ll use techniques from models like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to explore your thoughts and emotions, helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to your values.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch or book a free 20-minute call—there’s space here for you.
