About me and my therapy practice
I am here to try and give you that help.
My aim is to create the safe space that you need to explore all your thoughts and feelings; without any fear of judgement. I would love to walk along-side you, as you begin to understand your pain (present and past), and discover new ways of navigating your world, and the different relationships/difficulties in your life.
Practice description
We are all individuals, and we respond to life in different ways. This is why my practice is Integrative, meaning that I pull from a range of modalities to suit your specific therapeutic needs. I prefer working with the issues that you choose to present at your own pace, when you feel that you are ready to trust.
Having had a wide range of experience when it comes to anxiety and depression, I have been able to develop a better understanding and deep empathy towards the daily struggles of an individual who does not have the skills to cope, and may be feeling hopeless.
I am open, warm and easy to talk to; and our relationship is very important to me. Confidentiality is treated as high priority in my practice. It is the trust within the therapeutic relationship that I enjoy the most.
My first session
We will have a 15-20 minute free consultation to get to know each other. This will also help to gauge where you are emotionally, your immediate requirements, and if we would make a good fit.
If we both agree to proceed, please expect sessions to be 50 minutes in duration.
