About me and my therapy practice
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting, especially if you’re not quite sure where to start. My hope is that from the very first contact, you feel met with warmth, understanding, and a genuine human connection.
I am a kind, patient, and knowledgeable therapist who works with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to, with a sense of humour that helps make even difficult conversations feel more manageable. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself, at your own pace, without pressure or judgement.
I have supported many adults with issues such as anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy, we can gently explore what’s going on together.
Specialist experience:
Support for Parents and Carers of Children Affected by Sexual Abuse
Specialist counselling for parents and carers supporting a child who has experienced sexual abuse or trauma.
I offer trauma-informed counselling for parents and carers who are supporting a child after sexual abuse. With over 9 years’ experience providing therapy and parent support groups, I help caregivers process overwhelming emotions, understand the impact of trauma on their child, and feel more confident in how they support their family.
Practice description
My way of working is collaborative and compassionate. I’m not here to “fix” you or tell you what to do. Instead, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of your experiences, develop insight, and find ways forward that feel right for you. I adapt my approach to each individual, recognising that everyone’s story, needs, and goals are different.
Above all, I believe that therapy is a human relationship. Being heard, understood, and accepted can be deeply powerful, and sometimes transformative. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect, I would be very happy to hear from you.
Clients have reported increased self-awareness and confidence, as well as a greater ability to recognize unhelpful thought patterns and make positive changes in their lives.
I have both personal and professional experience working with Autistic and ADHD clients, ensuring my practice is inclusive and understanding.
If you are ready to take the first step or have any questions, feel free to contact me for an initial consultation.

Availability
I have availability to work with supervisee's both in-person and online.
About me and my therapy practice
I hold a certificate in Clinical Supervision including Online and Telephone working. I work with both qualified and trainee Counsellors.
As with therapy I believe that the basis of good supervision is the building of the relationship between supervisee's and supervisor. I will work collaboratively with supervisee's to enhance their relationships with their clients as well as identifying the individual needs of the supervisee.
I have experience managing a counselling service providing practical and clinical support to counsellors on placements or volunteering, as well as those in private practice.
Within my own work experience I have worked with adults impacted directly or indirectly by child sexual abuse, trauma, domestic and sexual violence and coercive control.
I offer a person-centred supervision, using the Hawkins & Shohets seven-eyed model of supervision.
Individual supervision fee's £60 per hour.
