I currently have daytime availability on Thursdays, alongside limited availability for fortnightly evening sessions.
I offer both in-person counselling in Plymouth and online sessions across the UK. I work with adults aged 18 and above, supporting both individuals and couples.

If I do not currently have suitable availability, I will always try to communicate this clearly and discuss possible future availability where appropriate.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative counsellor, trained to work flexibly and relationally with individuals and couples. Alongside my integrative core training, I have undertaken extensive further training in attachment-based psychotherapy, which now forms the foundation of how I understand emotional and relational difficulties.
Attachment-based therapy explores how early relationships and experiences shape the way we connect with others, manage emotions, respond to conflict and view ourselves. Often, the patterns we carry into adulthood developed as ways of protecting ourselves or getting our needs met. These can show up as difficulties trusting others, fear of rejection, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, relationship conflict, or feeling disconnected and stuck without fully understanding why.
My role is not to judge or “fix” you, but to work alongside you in understanding these patterns with curiosity and compassion. I aim to offer a calm, safe and reflective space where you feel able to explore your experiences at your own pace. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes an important part of the work, helping to create a secure base from which greater self-awareness, emotional regulation and more fulfilling relationships can develop.
As an integrative therapist, I also draw on person-centred, Gestalt, CBT and transpersonal approaches where appropriate. This allows me to adapt the work to your individual needs, bringing in psychoeducation, practical tools and techniques alongside deeper relational exploration.
I work with a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties including anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment trauma, emotional overwhelm and relationship challenges. My aim is to help you feel more connected — both within yourself and in your relationships with others.
I offer counselling in person in Plymouth and online across the UK.
Practice description
I offer integrative, attachment-based counselling for individuals and couples in Plymouth and online across the UK. My work is grounded in understanding how early experiences and relationships shape the way we feel, connect and respond in adulthood. I aim to provide a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and patterns at your own pace.
You may be finding yourself stuck in familiar relationship dynamics, feeling overwhelmed emotionally, struggling with anxiety or low self-esteem, or simply aware that something does not feel quite right. Together, we can begin to make sense of these experiences and understand the emotional needs and protective strategies that sit beneath them.
I work relationally, meaning the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the process. My aim is to offer a secure and consistent space where you feel safe enough to explore openly, without pressure or expectation. Alongside reflective exploration, I may also bring in psychoeducation, tools and techniques where helpful to support greater understanding and awareness.
My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred, Gestalt, CBT and transpersonal perspectives alongside attachment theory, allowing me to tailor the work to your individual needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
I work from my own private office in Plymouth, close to local transport links, and also offer online counselling across the UK via Google Meet.
An initial consultation lasts 45 minutes and costs £40. Ongoing sessions are 55 minutes long and are charged at £55 for individuals and £75 for couples. There is no set number of sessions required, and we can review the work together as we go. Session frequency is flexible and guided by your needs, though regular sessions are often beneficial in supporting continuity and maintaining the therapeutic process.
If something in this resonates with you, you are very welcome to get in touch.
My first session
I offer a 45-minute initial consultation for £40, whether attending individually or as a couple. This first session provides a space for us to begin exploring what has brought you to counselling, what you may be hoping for from the work, and whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
Once your appointment is booked, I will send you a copy of the client contract and a short intake form. This helps me gain a better understanding of what is bringing you to therapy and allows us to use our time together more meaningfully.
During the initial consultation, we can spend time discussing the agreement, answering any questions you may have, and thinking together about how we might work in a way that feels supportive and manageable for you.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, so my aim is to create a calm, welcoming and non-judgemental space from the outset. If I do not feel I am the right person to support your needs, I will always aim to help you find someone more suitable where possible.
