About me and my therapy practice
Have you felt like you’re supposed to be “over” a loss? Is it hard to share how you feel because it doesn’t match up with people’s expectations of grief? I know that it can feel like there is supposed to be an expiration date on grief. And that a loss can leave you feeling a complicated mixture of emotions that can make it hard to see what comes next.
I help people to explore their grief no matter how much time has passed. I offer an opportunity to explore all aspects of how grief and bereavement may be affecting your life. This might involve noticing how grief lives in your body, expressing the thoughts in your head you find hard to share with others or experimenting with doing something differently in your life.
We continue to have a relationship with somebody even after their death and helping you to understand what that looks like now is central to my way of working. Sometimes, the more complicated the relationship was in life, the harder it is to know how to grieve or what that relationship looks like now.
