About me and my therapy practice
Does everything feel too big and too difficult right now? Perhaps you feel like you're supposed to be “over” a loss? Or that you've just become a parent and you're finding it harder than you imagined? Or just that you are suddenly struggling at work with tasks that were previously possible.
I know what it feels like to find the act of living in the modern world unbearably hard. To feel divorced from your body, from your feelings, from your self and your friends.
I help people to explore their current reality and to support them in building their knowledge of themselves and what can change. This might involve noticing how grief, anxiety and depression live in your body, expressing the thoughts in your head you find hard to share with others or experimenting with doing something differently in your life.
I believe fully that our lives cannot be separated from the context of the world we live in and that modern living is fraught. I hope to create a relationship with you that will allow space to hold the difficult and painful parts of life and make more space for moments of joy, change and acceptance
