About me and my therapy practice
Currently, my practice is fully online, making it accessible wherever you are. If you’re looking for psychotherapy or counselling from the privacy and comfort of your own space, we can work together.
I work relationally, which means our relationship is central to the process: we pay attention not only to what you bring, but how you experience it with another person. My core approach is Transactional Analysis —a clear, practical framework that helps us understand patterns in how you think, feel, and relate, and how those patterns can be changed.
My role is to meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you:
to support, guide, and challenge you gently until you reach the place you want to be.
Your reasons for coming might be:
- A shorter, focused piece of work with specific goals:
for example, coping with a recent change, a loss, a breakup, work stress, or a transition you didn’t choose.
- A more open-ended, in-depth journey:
perhaps you want to heal old, deep-seated wounds, explore long-standing patterns, or finally listen to the part of you that says, “Something isn’t right, and I don’t want to keep living like this.”
Healing and self-development are not linear; they tend to move in cycles, each time going a little deeper. Whether you’re seeking tools to manage the present or you’re ready to explore what lies underneath the roles, expectations, and burdens you’ve carried, we can take that journey at your pace.
Most importantly: even if it feels like you’re facing this alone, you don’t have to do it by yourself. I’m here to be with you in it, step by step.
My first session
In our first session, we’ll go at your pace.
I’ll start by briefly explaining how I work, confidentiality, and what you can expect from online sessions. Then I’ll invite you to share what brings you here now: what feels difficult, what you’d like help with, and what you hope might be different.
We’ll begin to get a feel for each other and see if it feels like a good fit. I’ll ask some gentle questions to understand your background and current situation, and together we’ll start to shape some initial goals—whether that’s something very specific or simply “I want to understand myself better.”
There is no pressure to tell your whole story at once; the first session is about making a start, feeling heard, and seeing if this is a space where you can imagine doing your work.
