I particularly welcome parents and carers who:
• Work in education, healthcare or helping professions
• Have children experiencing anxiety or emotional difficulties
• Are navigating neurodiversity in the family
• Feel overwhelmed, burnt out or unsure where to turn
• Want a reflective space to think about their parenting
You do not need to be in crisis to seek support. Many parents come simply because they want to feel more confident and connected in family life.
I work from Tuesday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, term time only. Online therapy offers a flexible and accessible way to access specialist support from home.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting children, young people and the adults who care for them. Alongside my private practice, I work as a school therapist and supervisor, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional and relational challenges families face today.
While my background is in direct work with children, young people and their parents/carers, my current private practice is focused on online therapy for parents and carers. I support adults who want to better understand their child’s emotional world, strengthen relationships at home, and feel more confident navigating the complexities of parenting.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed practice and child development. I integrate:
• Child and adolescent psychotherapy
• Play and creative therapy understanding
• Polyvagal and nervous-system informed practice
• Sandplay and symbolic thinking
• Compassion-focused and relational approaches
Although sessions are with parents, the focus is always the whole family system. By supporting you, we support your child.
Practice description
Parenting can feel overwhelming, especially when a child is struggling. You may be noticing anxiety, big emotions, behaviour changes, school difficulties, or the impact of neurodiversity or trauma. You might feel worried, exhausted, or unsure how best to support your child.
Many of the parents I work with are professionals in caring, teaching and helping roles who are used to supporting others but find it difficult to prioritise their own emotional needs.
Therapy offers a reflective, supportive space to slow down and think together.
My first session
Our first appointment will be a consultation and it will give you the opportunity to get to know me, to ask any questions you may have and to give us the opportunity to talk about your specific needs and how we can best work together to achieve your goals.

I offer a containing and reflective space for practitioners to acknowledge and process the often stressful, uncomfortable and painful experiences of working with children, young people, their families and the systems around them.
Through containment and reflection rooted in a dynamic and relational supervisory experience, both supervisor and supervisee are enabled to learn and grow across their professional career.
