About me and my therapy practice
Welcome and thankyou for reaching out. I am an experienced and Professional Counsellor & Heal Your Life Coach. As a registered member of the B.A.C.P. I adhere to their professional guidelines. I am here to support, hear and sometimes guide you. I am a professional listener. Seeking the meaning for you, beneath your words.
Life can be over-whelming. To talk freely, in a trusted and confidential space with a professional can help to illuminate clarity, support your courage, healing and draw on your confidence towards self-validation.
I offer a plethora of established skillsets, that I intuitively gauge and offer to you. I have a particular interest in psychological education, Developmental Trauma, Inner-child Healing, Attachment styles and working with Dysfunctional Family history, Anxiety, Self-Belief, Confidence and building on compassion in relationship with Self and others.
My experience is under-pinned with over 20 years of Mind-Body philosophy. I am fully qualified Yoga and Mindfulness facilitator. Also a trained Heal Your Life Coach and Emotional Freedom Therapist. (E.F.T) and The Felt Sense. I use 'Compassionate Parts' therapy.
I maintain a holistic view of wellness. And like to offer a variety of wisdom, and tools of current educational psychology, a re-usable skillset gifted to clients learning ways to Self soothe and support themselves, going forwards.
Practice description
In sharing your story, together working at your pace, we begin to re-configure the parts: what hurts, what works, what doesn’t, asking solution focused questions: 'How would you like it to be?' Using the 'rules of the mind' and emotional intelligence to gain forward trust and momentum.
Compassionate Coaching can assist to set new goals, bring clarity, and help soothe over-thinking and emotional turbulence.
I have an array of experience in: Inner-child Healing, Mindful Meditation, The Felt Sense Body work & energy work. I have supported clients through:
Anxiety, Change, Self-development, Relationship conflict, Grief and Loss, Attachment Issues. My compassionate and motivational counselling can help with indecision, acceptance and moving forward towards championing you and your inner world.
Additional areas of focus: Trauma, Anger-management, Career Difficulties, Depression, Bereavement, Jealousy, Self-Harm and Addiction. Relationship work and much of the above often begins with your willingness to build the relationship, friendship and compassion for Self.
My first session
I offer up a 15 minute free enquiry call to assess your reasons for seeking support. We gauge if we are comfortable to work together and can book in a suitable time to meet via zoom.
After the initial enquiry, our first session consists of completing the 'Working Agreement' together. To understand professional boundaries and to explain confidentiality and it's limitations.
We will look at your unique reasons for seeking support, your needs, goals and best outcomes. We get to learn more about each other and an over-view of how we work together. I may give various 'growth/home-work' to practice if wished.
There is a discounted offer for a pre-paid block-booking of 4x sessions for £220 used over a 6 weeks period. (Saving £20) My sessions are currently on zoom.
