About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative therapist, I offer emotional support for people navigating life’s challenges whether they stem from past experiences or are showing up in the present day.

My approach is grounded, relational, and tailored to your needs. Therapy is a chance to slow down, pause and reflect, understand what you’re feeling, and create meaningful, positive change.

My background includes several years volunteering for a bereavement charity and working on a counselling helpline, supporting clients facing a wide range of issues, including loss, and bereavement, chronic illness, fertility issues and IVF support.

As a fertility counsellor, I support individuals at any stage of their fertility journey - from deciding whether to begin treatment to finding a way forward after treatment ends. I also work with those who are childless not by choice and with people who have experienced embryo loss. Recognising these moments as significant forms of loss worthy of grief can be an important part of making sense of our feelings and learning new ways to take care of ourselves during what can be a challenging time.

I work with compassion and sensitivity, drawing from my professional training and my own lived experiences of fertility issues, chronic illness, and grief. In today’s fast-paced world, our experiences of loss are often pushed aside, with pressure to ‘get on with it’ or ‘get over it.’ Therapy can help you explore and process these emotions, understand their impact on your life, and take steps toward your new normal at your own pace.

My first session

If you've reached this section, thank you for taking the time to read, I'm sure you've seen a few profiles already. If you’re still not sure but feel a little more curious, I do offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask any questions you might have and to get a feel for me as your potential counsellor. It is a really good way for us both to learn a little more about one another and to see if working together would be helpful for you.

Once we have spoken and you would then like to book your first session, we will agree a convenient day and time and this usually will become your regular session time.

Virtual/online sessions are weekly and usually, will be on the same day, at the same time. I offer both short-term and long-term support and usually discuss what you would like this to be during our first session.

Practice description

I offer virtual and telephone sessions and work in-person from a space in Ruislip.

The counselling room is easily accessible and a short walk from Ruislip Station.

I am located on the first floor of the building. There are stairs leading up to the counselling room and unfortunately there is no lift available.
