About me and my therapy practice

You may feel that something in your life is not quite right. Whether you begin therapy with clear ideas of what you want to change or you want to start exploring this, I want to take that journey of transformation with you.

We will start by exploring what brought you to therapy and what you would hope to achieve in our sessions. We will look at self-limiting issues that may be holding you back and explore ways to liberate yourself from them. I offer a warm, non-judgemental environment, in which you can process difficult thoughts and feelings. Together we will create a reflective alliance to explore and validate your personal experiences. Developing a new perspective and a strong and healthy sense of self will allow you to create change. I will support you to identify and draw on your inner resources to find meaning and to live a fuller, more satisfying life.

I am a member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (UK Council of Psychotherapy) I am bound by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling professionals.

I have worked for various mental health charities including Mind, Bereavement Care and Adfam (alcohol and drug addiction) and I have experience in both time-limited and long-term counselling.

Thank you for taking the time to find out about me. I hope to have the opportunity to learn about you.

Practice description

I am offering face to face sessions in Pinner (3 min walking distance from Pinner train station) as well as options for online and phone counselling sessions. I also practice in Ruislip.

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The foundation of my therapeutic framework is in humanistic and existential approach with a holistic view of each client. As an Integrative therapist, I have a solid foundation in a variety of other theoretical approaches. This allows me to tailor my way of working to attend to your unique needs. This often includes some of the following: I will help you to identify patterns in your thoughts and behaviours and find ways to change them, provide you with tools and techniques to manage anxiety and low self-esteem, explore your past and how this affects you today and support you to discover your potential and ability to make the right choices.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent over a decade working in a large international organisation as a Global Director. During that time, I participated in a Women in Leadership programme and later developed and introduced a mentoring scheme to support women in building the confidence and skills needed to move into leadership roles. My career in corporate world helped me in understanding of the complex emotional and relational challenges often faced in high-pressure work environments — navigating visibility, authority, and self-belief. I remain passionate about encouraging others to recognise their strengths, overcome self-doubt, and fulfil their potential both personally and professionally.
