About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced and empathic Psychodynamic Counsellor working with adults of all ages at One Therapy London in Oxford Circus (onetherapy.london) and Hertfordshire. Psychodynamic Counselling is a type of talking therapy. To begin with I will listen to you tell me about whatever you are going through right now. Working together I can help you unravel your feelings and start to make sense of your past, present and future. By unlocking together what can be distressing patterns of behaviour you will understand yourself better and harness the power to change.

From my central London Oxford Circus practice I offer open-ended and time-limited counselling face to face. I enjoy building trusting relationships with my clients to enable them to move forwards with their lives.

Following five years of counselling training, I completed an accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling at The Counselling Foundation. I work with a broad range of clients in private practice both in Central London at One Therapy London and in Hertfordshire both in private practice and as a Counsellor and personal tutor at The Counselling Foundation in St Albans.

I am a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics. I carry an enhanced DBS check and hold full professional indemnity insurance.

Practice description

Taking the plunge and starting therapy can seem scary. I will make sure that you feel at ease, secure and comfortable. By walking hand in hand on this therapeutic journey, you will develop the self worth to steer your own life forwards knowing you are not alone.

Counselling sessions take place once a week, for 50 minutes, on the same day and time each week. Fees at my practice at One Therapy London are based on a sliding scale starting at £90 per session.

My tranquil and confidential consulting room is based in Great Portland Street and is just a three minute walk from Oxford Circus tube station and 10 minutes from Tottenham Court Road tube station.

My first session

You will be offered an initial 50 minute face to face appointment where you will have the opportunity to set aside any worries you have about starting therapy and ask any questions. During this time we will explore together whether psychodynamic counselling is right for you at this time.

It is important to choose a counsellor with whom you feel comfortable. If we agree to start ongoing therapy sessions, we will agree on a suitable time and day to hold our sessions weekly.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor working with adults of all ages from 18+. By working closely with clients, I give space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so that clients can develop a better understanding of themselves and others. Working in a non-judgemental, sensitive, and empathetic way, I build strong relationships with clients helping them to learn how to manage their lives and develop their sense of self-worth.

I work both long-term with clients to enable deeper personal growth, and also shorter-term, focussing on specific issues. To begin with I will listen to them tell me about whatever they are going through right now. Working together I can help them unravel their feelings and start to make sense of their past, present and future. By unlocking what can be distressing patterns of behaviour clients understand themselves better and harness the power to change.

I offer open-ended and time-limited counselling face to face, by telephone and online.  I enjoy building trusting relationships with my clients to enable them to move forwards with their lives.
