About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re carrying grief, stress or long‑held emotional pain. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
I am a BACP‑registered psychotherapist trained in person‑centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, with specialist training in bereavement, complicated grief and traumatic loss. I work online with clients across the UK, offering a flexible and accessible space for therapy.
I have over ten years’ experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Issues I Work With
Depression • Anxiety • Bereavement & Grief • Traumatic Loss • Low Self‑Esteem • Childhood Trauma • Work Stress • Relationship Difficulties • Life Transitions
Loss and change often sit beneath many of the issues people bring to therapy, and my background in bereavement work helps me approach these experiences with sensitivity and care. Whether you are grieving a recent loss, navigating a more complex grief, or facing a different kind of life transition, I offer a space where your feelings can be explored safely at your own pace.
I provide short‑term and open‑ended psychotherapy for adults (18–65+), working collaboratively to help you make sense of your experiences and move towards greater emotional wellbeing.

Practice description
If we decide to work together, you can expect a warm, empathic and non‑judgemental space where you are listened to with care and curiosity. Clients often describe me as calm, steady and easy to talk to. All sessions take place online, allowing you to access therapy from a space that feels safe, private and comfortable for you — something many clients find helpful when navigating grief or emotionally difficult experiences.
My aim is to understand your experiences from your perspective, while also gently challenging you when it feels helpful — encouraging reflection, asking thoughtful questions and supporting you through moments that may feel emotionally stretching or unfamiliar.
Therapy with me is collaborative. I believe the most meaningful change happens when we work together to explore what is happening for you, make sense of your feelings and experiences, and identify what you need in order to move forward. When appropriate, I can offer resources such as books, podcasts, articles or reflective exercises, as well as therapeutic tasks to explore between sessions if this is something you find useful.
My hope is that you feel comfortable enough to bring your full self to therapy — without having to soften or hide what you’re really feeling. Therapy offers a rare space where you can speak openly and honestly, and in return receive an authentic, grounded response. This kind of exchange can help you understand yourself more deeply and create the conditions for growth, healing and emotional resilience.
I understand how difficult it can be to open up, especially when you are carrying grief, trauma or long‑held experiences that feel heavy or complex. I work at your pace — never rushing, always attuned to what feels manageable for you. Together, we set goals that reflect your needs, and I tailor the work accordingly.
I hope I can support you in finding clarity, strength and a sense of steadiness as you move forward.
My first session
The first session begins with a brief overview of how therapy works, including confidentiality, boundaries, session structure, and any previous therapeutic experiences you may have had. I usually allow around 10 minutes for this so you can feel grounded and informed.
From there, I will invite you to share how you’ve been since our introductory call and what has led you to seek therapy at this point in your life. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. My role is to help you ease into the process at a pace that feels manageable. The aim is for you to leave the session with a sense of clarity and readiness for the work ahead.
