About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP-accredited, person-centred therapist with over five years’ experience working with individual adults. I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted as you are.

I have worked successfully with clients experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, anger management, grief, PTSD, ADHD and OCD. My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. Together, we work at your pace to explore what feels difficult, strengthen your self-awareness, and support meaningful, lasting change.

I am experienced in working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and I bring cultural sensitivity and openness into our work. I practise with a strong awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and anti-discriminatory practice, creating a space where you can feel safe, respected, and valued.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I have two years’ experience as an emotions and motivation coach. This allows me to support clients who want to develop greater awareness and performance around boundaries, values, limiting beliefs, motivation, and goal setting. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking personal or professional growth, I tailor our work to your individual needs and goals.

I also offer Single Session Therapy to support clients with a single issue in only one session. It is possible to extend the single sessions to short-term or long-term therapy sessions afterwards. I offer sessions by phone and video, making therapy accessible wherever you are. I also provide therapy in Farsi and Dari, which can be especially helpful if you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in your first language.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. If you’re considering therapy, you don’t have to do this alone! I’m here to support you in a way that feels respectful, compassionate, and empowering.

My first session

Your first session with me is offered as a free initial consultation. This is a chance for us to meet, for you to get a feel for how I work, and to see whether you feel comfortable working with me.

In this session, I’ll invite you to share a brief history of your life and what has brought you to therapy at this point. You can share as much or as little as feels right for you. This helps me understand your background, your current situation, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy.

We’ll also talk about how I work, practicalities such as sessions and boundaries, and you’ll have the space to ask any questions you may have. By the end of the session, you can decide whether you’d like to continue therapy with me. There is no pressure or obligation. The aim is simply to help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
