I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor/Therapist and specialise in working with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationships, bereavement, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, parenting, planned and unplanned pregnancy, fertility issues, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and the menopause.

My area of expertise also includes working with neurodiversity in particular ADHD, ASD and dyslexia).

Sometimes life can feel like an emotional rollercoaster which affects not only the mind but the body. As a consequence, you may be left feeling detached from your sense of self and relationships, experiencing triggers or unhelpful thoughts.

My theoretical approach is integrative as I believe one glove does not fit all and I will tailor my approach according to your needs. This involves working together to obtain a deep understanding of your concerns and what works for you. When words are not enough, I can collaborate with you from a creative and holistic approach that is appropriate for you and your situation to help you to heal and accomplish your goals.

Practice description

I am passionate about supporting people and will always create a warm, friendly, professional, safe, confidential and non-judgmental space. This will allow us to explore what has brought you to therapy and how I can help you.

I am experienced at working with resistance and those who feel stuck and do not know where to start to tell their story. Facing your fears and connecting with what is happening in your life can be a scary experience and I will help you to feel at ease to sit and talk through your problems at your own pace.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

Maya Angelou, "I know why the caged bird sings."

My first session

I completely understand that it is important to find a therapist that you are able to build a good rapport with and that they are experienced to work with the difficulties that you would like to work through.

I work with clients short and long-term and face-to-face, online and on the telephone. Sessions are normally 50 minutes and we can discuss the frequency and timing of our sessions. However, I will always try to accommodate as best as I can.

Once you are happy to go proceed, our first session will involve an assessment and we will complete this during the session. This session will allow us to explore what you would like to work on and what you hope to achieve from our sessions.

At the end of our work together, I can provide a wellness/wellbeing information pack to support you as you continue your journey outside of our sessions.

My consulting room is located in the city of London opposite  Liverpool Street Train Station (close to a number of mainline train and tube stations which are all within walking distance from  Moorgate, Bank,  Aldgate  and Shoreditch).    I also offer online (via secure video platform 'zoom' and 'whereby') and telephone sessions to clients across the UK.
