About me and my therapy practice
Many of us long for relationships where we feel loved, understood and emotionally safe. When relationships become complicated, painful or uncertain, it can leave us feeling isolated, overwhelmed and questioning ourselves.
I provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is happening in your life at your own pace.
I have a particular passion for supporting people navigating complex relationships, including stepmother and blended family dynamics, co-parenting after separation or divorce, infidelity and betrayal, and the emotional challenges of being the other woman or the other man. These experiences often bring feelings of guilt, grief, loneliness, anger or uncertainty, and can leave people feeling misunderstood or unable to speak openly about what they're going through. My aim is to help you make sense of your experiences in a safe and supportive space, without fear of judgement.
Alongside my work with individuals, I also work with couples who want to strengthen their relationship, rebuild trust, improve communication or navigate significant life transitions. My approach is rooted in person-centred counselling, while drawing on a range of therapeutic techniques to meet your individual needs. I believe that every person is unique, and therapy should reflect that.
I have also undertaken specialist training in narcissistic personality disorder and narcissistic relationship dynamics. Where these behaviours are affecting individuals or couples.
As a counsellor from an ethnic minority background, I recognise that culture, family expectations, community values and lived experiences can have a significant impact on our relationships, identity and emotional wellbeing. I aim to provide a culturally sensitive and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel respected, heard and understood.
