About me and my therapy practice
COACH & THERAPIST
Clear thinking for confident decisions, authentic leadership, and meaningful change.
I work with professionals who are often capable, thoughtful and high-functioning, but internally may feel stuck, stretched, uncertain or disconnected from what they actually want. Some are navigating leadership pressure, confidence, communication challenges, burnout or career direction, while others are adjusting to new levels of responsibility, visibility or change within their work and personal lives.
Many of the people I work with are used to overthinking, carrying responsibility, or putting pressure on themselves to “get it right”. Coaching offers a space to step back, gain perspective, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move forward with greater confidence, self-trust and intention.
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded and down-to-earth. My coaching style is reflective, collaborative and direct where needed — helping you explore not just what needs to change, but what may be getting in the way. I help clients get the best out of their thinking so they can make confident decisions and lead in a way that feels authentic to them.
Before retraining professionally as a coach and therapist, I spent over 20 years working within leadership, training and people development roles across international organisations. This means I understand the realities of workplace pressure, organisational dynamics, leadership, communication challenges, burnout, visibility, and balancing achievement with wellbeing and authenticity.
I hold an EMCC Practitioner accreditation in coaching alongside a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling.
Alongside coaching, I also work therapeutically as an integrative counsellor. Coaching and therapy are different processes, and during an initial conversation we can explore together which approach feels the better fit for what you are looking for.
I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and life experiences.
Practice description
My coaching approach is tailored to you as an individual rather than following a rigid formula or one-size-fits-all model.
Some clients come wanting clarity around a particular decision or direction, while others are looking to strengthen confidence, communicate more effectively, develop leadership presence, navigate career change, manage stress more effectively, or stop second-guessing themselves professionally and personally.
I often work with professionals stepping into new management or leadership positions, where increased responsibility, visibility and decision-making can bring both opportunity and pressure.
I believe people often already hold more insight and capability than they realise, but can lose perspective when caught in pressure, self-doubt, competing expectations or constant busyness. Coaching creates space to think clearly, trust yourself more fully, and take practical steps forward in a way that feels aligned and authentic to who you are.
My background in counselling also means I bring an awareness of emotional patterns, identity, relationships and burnout, while remaining clear about the distinction between coaching and therapy.
My first session
I offer a no-obligation 30-minute discovery call, giving you the opportunity to get a sense of who I am, ask questions, and explore what you are looking for from coaching.
Our first session is an opportunity to explore where you currently feel stuck or challenged, what you would like to move towards, and how coaching may best support you to acheive those goals.
Sessions are scheduled at our mutual convenience.

About me and my therapy practice
THERAPIST AND COACH
A space to talk openly, think clearly, and make sense of things at your own pace.
I often hear people say, “I’ve thought about therapy, but I don’t think things are bad enough yet.” You don’t have to wait until you’re falling apart to talk to someone. A lot of people come to counselling because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or because something in life just doesn’t feel quite right anymore.
This may show up as anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem. For others, it can relate to trauma, complex trauma, loss, or difficult life experiences they have never fully spoken about before.
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded and down-to-earth. I offer a space where you can talk openly, feel at ease, and talk things through without feeling judged or picked apart.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working within corporate leadership, training and people development roles, which means I also understand the pressures that can come with work, responsibility, burnout, identity, and trying to hold everything together on the surface.
I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and life experiences.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than working in a one-size-fits-all way.
Some clients want space to explore emotions and relationships more deeply, while others come wanting to better understand patterns, build confidence, manage anxiety, or figure out what they actually want from life.
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest — including about the things that may feel messy, confusing or difficult to say out loud.
Alongside counselling, I also work as a coach with people looking for a space to think more clearly about things like confidence, decision-making, career direction, leadership, communication, or feeling stuck in some area of life. Coaching is generally more focused on helping you move forward in a specific area of life, whereas therapy may involve exploring emotions, experiences and patterns in greater depth. During an initial conversation, we can explore together which approach feels the better fit for what you’re looking for.
My first session
I offer an optional brief telephone conversation before booking, giving you the chance to get a sense of who I am and ask any initial questions you may have.
Therapy is collaborative, and our first session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to counselling and what you would like from the process. Together, we can think about what may feel most helpful for you and review this as the work develops.
Sessions are often weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels manageable, helpful and realistic for you.

About me and my therapy practice
THERAPIST & COACH
Therapy for people who are carrying a lot, even if outwardly they seem “fine”.
I often work with people who are used to coping, pushing through, and being the one others rely on. From the outside, life may look manageable, but internally things can feel overwhelming, exhausting or disconnected.
I often hear people say, “I’ve thought about therapy, but I don’t think things are bad enough yet.” You don’t have to wait until you’re falling apart to talk to someone. Many people come to counselling because they feel anxious, burnt out, emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or aware that something in life no longer feels sustainable.
For some, this may relate to relationships, self-esteem, identity or work pressures. For others, it can connect to trauma, complex trauma, loss, or difficult experiences they have carried quietly for a long time.
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded and down-to-earth. I offer a space where you can talk openly, feel at ease, and think things through without fear of judgement or pressure to present yourself in a certain way.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working within leadership, training and people development roles, which means I also understand the pressures that can come with responsibility, burnout, identity, and trying to hold everything together on the surface.
My experience includes working within bereavement services, hospice care and community mental health settings, alongside private practice.
I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling and continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional development and training.
Working across these settings has deepened my understanding of grief, trauma, identity, emotional overwhelm, and the different ways people learn to cope with difficult experiences.
I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and life experiences.

About me and my therapy practice
THERAPIST & COACH
Grounded, compassionate therapy for trauma, emotional overwhelm and difficult life experiences.
Some of the people I work with come to therapy carrying experiences they have managed alone for a long time. This may relate to trauma, loss, difficult relationships, emotional overwhelm, or patterns developed through needing to cope or survive.
People often arrive feeling emotionally exhausted, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or struggling to understand why certain emotions, patterns or relationships continue to affect them so strongly.
I often hear people say, “I’ve thought about therapy, but I don’t think things are bad enough yet.” You don’t have to wait until you’re falling apart to talk to someone. Therapy can help whether you are struggling with something specific or simply aware that something no longer feels manageable in the way it once did.
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded and down-to-earth. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working within leadership, training and people development roles, giving me insight into the pressures that can come with responsibility, burnout, identity, communication, and trying to hold everything together on the surface.
My experience includes bereavement services, hospice care, community mental health and private practice. I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling and continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional development.
Alongside counselling, I also work as a coach with people looking for a more future-focused space around confidence, communication, career direction, leadership or decision-making. Coaching and therapy are different processes, and together we can explore which approach feels the better fit for what you are looking for.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than working in a one-size-fits-all way.
Some clients come wanting support around anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, self-esteem or relationships, while others are looking to better understand patterns developed through earlier experiences and how these continue to impact them in the present.
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest — including about the things that may feel painful, confusing, contradictory or difficult to put into words.
My approach is collaborative, relational and grounded in creating a space where you feel emotionally safe enough to explore difficult experiences without fear of judgement or pressure to move faster than feels right for you.

Thoughtful, grounded therapy that fits around modern life.

Practice description
As we are all susceptible to the challenges life throws at us, I firmly believe in working with the person, not the label, which is the ethos of how I work.
I recognise that we are all unique, where my integrative qualifications allow me to dynamically draw from several approaches to tailor therapy to appreciate your individuality and meet your needs. The clients I work with tell me that the genuine, warm and empathic approach I provide allows them to truly be themselves and explore difficult experiences and emotions without fear of being judged - this, in itself, can be a very healing process.
