About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. For some people, it marks a shift towards exploring parts of life that have felt difficult, confusing, or even off-limits. Therapy offers a safe and confidential space to bring those experiences into the open, at a pace that feels manageable.

My approach is relational, which means I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship itself. I aim to create a warm, grounded and non-judgemental space where we can build trust and work together as equals. I understand that speaking openly can take courage, and I pay close attention not only to what you share, but also how you experience it, including what may feel hard to say out loud.

In our sessions, we might explore your inner world, your relationships, and the patterns that shape the way you see yourself and others. Often, therapy involves making sense of where certain feelings or coping strategies come from, and gently questioning whether they are still serving you. Over time, this can create space for greater self-understanding, self-acceptance, and new possibilities for how you want to live.

People come to therapy for many reasons, including:

•anxiety and stress

•low mood or depression

•shame and self-esteem difficulties

•relationship struggles and communication issues

•dating, intimacy and attachment patterns

•sexual difficulties, desire, and emotional or sexual disconnection

•identity, self-worth and confidence

•loneliness, life transitions, and existential questions

•feeling stuck, lost, or unsure of direction

I have particular experience supporting clients with issues around sex, intimacy and relationships, including shame, desire, boundaries, communication, and emotional or sexual disconnection. I am also drawn to existential themes such as identity, meaning, loneliness, life transitions, and the question of how to live more authentically.

I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, and relationship structures.

Practice description

Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place once per week at the same time and day. I currently offer therapy online over video.

I work with both short-term and long-term clients. Some people come to therapy with a specific issue they want to focus on, while others want a deeper ongoing space to explore patterns, relationships, identity, or how past experiences continue to affect the present.

My approach is relational and collaborative, meaning I place strong importance on building trust and working at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Sessions are a space where you can speak openly and be met with warmth, curiosity, and without judgement.

My first session

Please contact me to arrange a complimentary brief telephone consultation, with no obligation to continue. The purpose of this call is to understand what brings you to therapy and to explore whether I may be a good fit for what you’re looking for.

If you would like to proceed, we can then book an initial 50-minute session. Following this, sessions are usually held weekly at a regular time and day, depending on availability.
