Therapist - Epsom

Epsom KT18
Sessions from £65.00

Features

  • Wheelchair accessible office
  • Concessionary rates

Availability

I offer sessions online using Zoom or in-person from a therapy space in Guildford GU1 1RR.

My availability does change so please get in touch and we can discuss possible options for days and times.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with individuals that are functioning on some level, they’re managing their main day to day activities whether that be work, studies, showing up for people around them but something feels amiss.

Stuck on a feeling that life is not quite as it should be; often an issue within a relationship - partner, family members, friend, colleague or perhaps more closely centred to your relationship with yourself - your self-esteem, your identity. Stirring up feelings of anxiety, affecting your mood, levels of energy & motivation and sense of fulfilment.

I help people gain clarity. Working together to deepen self-awareness, identify patterns and understand how these have formed, with a view to making change and feeling differently about yourself and how you relate to others.

Reaching out can be difficult so whether you are thinking about in-person or remote sessions, I offer a sense of safety in the consistency of our work together. I’m warm, professional and will be curious with you to enable us to explore your experiences and how these have shaped you and the way you navigate the world.

Practice description

I work with adults (18+) experiencing emotional difficulties and mental health problems in particular anxiety and depression on both a long term and time-limited basis. I have a therapy room in Guildford GU1 1RR, or alternatively we can work remotely on Zoom.

People begin counselling for a variety of reasons:

• Feeling anxious, concerned, or worried about life and the future

• Experiencing low mood or depression

• During times of loss or loneliness

• Relationships – at home or work – not going as well as you would like

• Following redundancy, or wanting to change career

• Identity issues

• Feelings of frustration or anger

• Low self-esteem and self-worth

• During periods of significant change and transition such as marriage, parenthood, ageing, menopause, empty-nest, retirement

• Health concerns for self or others

• Family difficulties – fertility, parenthood, conflict, disappointment

If anything here seems familiar, you're welcome to send me a message - no commitment, no pressure. Just an initial conversation to see if it feels like the right fit.

My first session

After you get in touch; we will arrange a free 15 minute telephone conversation to briefly talk through your current difficulties and explain how I work.

If we think it's a good fit and decide to move forward, then the next step is to arrange an initial consultation (1hr 15mins) where we take more time to find out about your circumstances, background and the challenges you are experiencing.
