About me and my therapy practice

*Remote therapy - online or telephone*

Are you feeling stuck with food, weight or body image?

Do any of these feel familiar?

  • You over‑think what, when, or how much to eat.
  • You feel disconnected from your body and hate how you look.
  • You cycle between strict diets, then binge and lose control.
  • You feel like you’re failing, despite your efforts.

If this sounds like you, I am an eating disorder therapist, coach and trainer who supports people to find freedom and self acceptance from distress related to eating, food, weight and body image distress.

I work best with:

Neurodivergent adults (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc.) who experience executive‑functioning challenges that make meal planning, timing, and consistency difficult.

High‑achieving professionals, academics, and creative people whose perfectionism, imposter‑syndrome, or burnout fuels disordered eating patterns.

People struggling with binge eating, emotional eating or “all or nothing” eating, and the accompanying body‑image distress.

My practice is built around meeting you exactly where you are and supporting you to find your own solutions so you can live the life you choose.

Practice description

I am a humanistic relational integrative psychotherapist and work from a pluralistic framework.

What this means for you:

  • Therapy with me is a partnership
  • I value the relationship between us and see our work as a collaboration between us to help you reach your goals.
  • I adapt therapy to suit what truly works for your brain.

If therapy hasn’t worked in the past, it's likely because the approach didn't suit your needs, not because you failed. In reality, many approaches simply aren’t designed with neurodivergent people in mind.

What to expect:

  • As well as talking, I often draw on creative tools like metaphor, visual mapping, and other concrete techniques to help turn abstract feelings into something you can see, move, and work with.
  • This can help you clarify where you are now, figure out where you’d like to be, and map a realistic path forward.
  • I offer information and education to equip you with practical tools and knowledge you can apply immediately.
  • As a researcher and lecturer, I use evidence-based approaches while trusting your insight, so we can create a plan together that fits you.
  • I follow the ethical guidelines of the BACP, I have regular supervision, and I engage in ongoing continuing professional and personal development.

Ready to take the next step?

Contact me to book your complementary 30‑minute exploratory call, and start building a nuanced personalised roadmap towards creating a more balanced relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

My first session

I welcome self referrals through email or through the contact form on my website. I am usually unavailable to take phone calls unless pre-arranged so please email or leave a voicemail with your contact details and I will get back to you.

I offer a free 30-minute exploratory call for you to find out more about the way I work and see if you might like to work with me.

If you want to go ahead, I'll send you my welcome information and invite you to book an assessment.

Standard sessions are 50-mins and charged at my standard rate of £70.

I also offer an extended 90-minute initial assessment session which costs £110.

Most clients begin with a 90-minute initial assessment so we have sufficient time to explore your experiences, discuss your goals, and start building a personalised map. In some circumstances, a standard 50-minute initial assessment session may be more appropriate and we can discuss this together.
