About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults, young adults over the age of 17 years old and couples.
Are you experiencing difficulty in your personal or professional life where relationships or events feel overwhelming? Or maybe you are feeling a loss of direction or purpose? Are you feeling lonely dealing with personal issues on your own?
Seeking counselling with me gives you the space to explore how you are feeling. It can be a rewarding experience where you can gain self-awareness to challenge your established ways of thinking and adapt and develop new ways of coping that work for you. This might be difficult at times, but rest assured I will be alongside you providing a warm, compassionate and supportive environment where you can be heard and understood.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including stress or anxiety, feeling depressed or unhappy, relationship problems, grief, bereavement and loss, neurodiversity, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, anger, abuse, addiction, issues relating to sexuality, family issues and work related issues.
I also support couples navigating difficulties in their relationship, including conflict, intimacy, disconnection, after an affair, the transition towards ending a relationship, past traumas impacting the relationship and navigating different life stages.
It is important you take the time to find a counsellor you feel you can connect with and trust. I am a fully trained integrative therapist and I draw on different ways of working to meet your individual needs. My relational and collaborative approach incorporates humanistic, psychodynamic and transpersonal methods of therapy. These enable us to explore, at a pace that suits you, the relationship you have with yourself and others in your life right now and, when past experiences impact how you are feeling today, understanding these can help you find the resilience and coping strategies for how you want to move forward.
