I work both outside with our horses, walking and talking in the beautiful SouthDowns National Park and room based psychotherapy and holistic coaching . We have space for body based somatic techniques with yoga mats. I have a special interest in nutritional and holistic lifestyle support to increase energy levels and manage mood. Calming chronic anxiety and lifting low mood with a whole health approach.
Increasingly my clients require zoom or face time options as I work nationally. Zoom can also help with managing continuity for after work evening clients.
I offer a hybrid of flexible working which suites commuters who can come in person sometimes but also require mobile based therapy as well.
About me and my therapy practice
Whilst I am a psychodynamically trained therapist I have a special interest in wellbeing and lifestyle . I am a registered homeopath with the Society and have experience of listening to how the body tells us something is out of balance. Fatigue low mood burn out and anxiety can be greatly helped with a holistic approach to support the talking . I work with how we often push our painful feelings into our body to cope with our busy lives . Understanding and learning to support ourselves energetically can provide great relief allowing us to feel whole again. Using tools and techniques to become aware and take home clients have been able to transform their lives. This is tremendously empowering and facilitates great transformation in my clients.
Practice description
At Heartlands we have a private oasis in the beautiful Southdowns. We are able to not only offer room based therapy but walk and talk therapy in 12 acres of completely private grassland. As a leap trained practitioner I also work with our small herd of horses to facilitate equine therapy. This is a wonderful opportunity to re-connect with your deepest self - and perhaps go on a journey to find out who that really is. Horses offer unconditional regard in the present moment - this can heal deep attachment wounds and relational trauma that has no words. The horses speak with their hearts - and I have found this work to be extremely healing for clients who could not face 'telling their story'. Holistic support facilities a deep connection to self and nature and the countryside assists this sense of safety and peace .
