About me and my therapy practice
Whatever has brought you here, taking this first step matters. I’m a fully qualified, insured counsellor and psychotherapist, and a BACP accredited member, with a First Class BA (Hons) in Counselling. I’m also a member of EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and qualified to Level 7 in Clinical Supervision. Alongside my therapeutic work, I bring 30 years’ experience in the City IT sector, giving me a strong understanding of workplace pressures, career challenges and life transitions. I work with adults and young people aged 16+.
I have extensive experience supporting anxiety and depression, trauma, bereavement and loss, relationship and family difficulties, separation and divorce, work and career concerns, abuse, sexuality and gender, identity, race and culture, and body image and disordered eating. My approach is integrative, collaborative and tailored to the individual, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches including EMDR. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space to explore what is happening, understand patterns and behaviours, process difficult experiences and develop new ways of thinking, feeling and responding.
Therapy can be open-ended and paced around your individual needs, allowing time to explore both immediate concerns and deeper or longer-standing difficulties. We’ll agree what you want to achieve and regularly reflect on your progress, adapting the work as you develop. Success is about meaningful change, greater self-awareness, improved coping, increased confidence and a stronger sense of wellbeing and choice in your life.

I am available to offer supervision both in person and online, and would be happy to arrange a call to discuss your needs. Concessionary rates are available for trainee counsellors.
About me and my therapy practice
As a clinical supervisor, my practice is grounded in a humanistic philosophy, primarily drawing on Gestalt and Person-Centred approaches. I also integrate insights from attachment theory, psychodynamic thinking, and polyvagal theory, as well as elements of Transactional Analysis where helpful.
I believe supervision should provide a safe, collaborative, and reflective space, where you can bring your work honestly and without judgement. Together, we can explore your practice, your process, and the relational dynamics with your clients — always holding the client’s wellbeing at the centre.
My background as an integrative counsellor allows me to adapt flexibly to your needs as a supervisee. I aim to offer both support and gentle challenge, encouraging curiosity, growth, and confidence in your clinical work.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call as an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if we feel like a good fit to work together. This call is a chance for you to share what you are looking for in supervision, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of my style and approach. I believe that the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is central, so taking this time helps ensure you feel comfortable and supported before committing to ongoing sessions.
