About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Aisha. I hold a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling from the University of East London. I am a qualified integrative counsellor.
Life often encourages us to 'get on with it' or 'stop worrying,’ but if this resonates with you, remember—you’re not alone. I’m here to listen to what you’re going through and to remind you that it’s okay not to be okay. Facing crossroads in life can be tough, especially when past traumas, losses, or relationship issues weigh heavily on us. These experiences can deeply affect our mental health, bringing feelings of grief, stress, or anxiety. Challenges at work, health concerns—whether physical or psychological—and cultural or religious pressures can also impact how we feel. It’s understandable to experience feelings of depression, isolation, hearing voices, or even thoughts of self-harm.
My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you feel supported and listened to. In this confidential setting, I aim to guide and empower you on your healing journey through personalised approaches. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness and positive change.
Remember, you are valuable and important.
Practice description
I have a compassionate background in mental health, supporting individuals with psychosis, auditory hallucinations, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, bereavement, and trauma. I also have experience with work challenges and childhood trauma. My approach includes modalities like person-centred psychodynamics, creative therapy, and therapy cards.
As a positive psychology coach, I am here to support your personal growth and career development, helping you achieve a more fulfilling, balanced life.
I support clients 18+, as a university specialist mentor for academic and mental well-being, and provide stress coping strategies for students with neurodiversity challenges
