About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist with a relational, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approach. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can explore what brings you to therapy, develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and find ways of moving forward that feel meaningful to you.
My work draws on humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, alongside body-focused techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and an understanding of nervous system regulation. This means we can explore not only your thoughts and feelings, but also how past experiences, relationships and patterns of responding may be affecting you in the present.
I have a particular interest in working with ADHD, autism and AuDHD, including people who are exploring whether they might be neurodivergent. As a therapist with lived experience of ADHD, I understand the importance of an approach that recognises both the challenges and strengths of neurodivergence, without treating difference as something that needs to be fixed.
My aim is to offer a warm, curious and non-judgemental space where you can develop greater self-understanding, self-compassion and a stronger connection with yourself.
Practice description
Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or stuck in familiar patterns. You might be struggling with relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, identity or the impact of difficult past experiences. Or perhaps you've spent much of your life feeling different, misunderstood or unsure why everyday things seem harder for you than for others.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect and begin making sense of your experiences.
I work with adults from a range of backgrounds and have particular experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. My approach is affirming, compassionate and tailored to your individual needs.
Depending on what you're looking for, we might explore past experiences and relationship patterns, develop practical strategies for everyday challenges, or work towards greater emotional awareness and self-acceptance.
I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. Sessions are available online via Zoom or as walk-and-talk therapy in Brighton.
My current fees are £85 for a 50-minute online session and £100 for a 50-minute walk-and-talk session. I also offer a limited number of concessionary places.
Therapy is available in English or German.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation lasting 90 minutes, which takes place online via Zoom and costs £100.
The consultation gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy. I'll invite you to share a little about your current circumstances, the difficulties you're experiencing and any relevant background or previous experiences.
We can also talk about what you're hoping to gain from therapy, what kind of support might be helpful and whether short-term counselling or longer-term psychotherapy would be most appropriate.
Importantly, this is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for how I work, ask any questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.
There's no expectation that you need to have everything figured out before we meet. We can take time to explore things together and agree on the next steps.
