About me and my therapy practice
Life doesn’t always go the way we hoped and can leave you feeling lost, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. I offer a calm, confidential space to untangle these experiences and find a way forward. I work with adults and teenagers in-person, and nationally online.
As an experienced Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, I create an environment where you can think aloud freely - allowing us to identify and work through whatever is affecting your wellbeing.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, processing past events, or seeking a more meaningful connection with yourself, I'm here to guide the process. I work from a culturally responsive perspective, bringing genuine curiosity to how identity, background, and lived experience shape who we are - approached not as a specialism bolted on, but as central to how I understand each person's experience.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we identify the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, connecting them to your life experiences to understand how the past may be shaping your present. Rather than trying to erase the past, we work to change your relationship to it, empowering you to re-author your story and build the resilience needed for a more grounded future.
Ultimately, therapy can help you construct a more coherent understanding of yourself and your place in the world, leading to greater emotional wellbeing and more fulfilling relationships.
Practice description
My practice is built on the belief that we all have the capacity to re-author our stories.
Drawing on my experience as a Clinical Lead and my work in the supervision and training of other counsellors and psychotherapists, I bring a broad clinical perspective to our work together, offering a space to untie the internal knots that prevent you from living a grounded, authentic life.
Through my work in both private and public healthcare, I have gained extensive experience drawing on a combination of research, theory, and practice to support meaningful, lasting change.
My first session
It is completely normal to feel anxious or nervous about starting therapy.
Our initial 30-minute Zoom chat is free of charge. This is an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy, any concerns you have, or the changes you're looking to make. I will navigate this conversation with you as we begin to untangle these experiences, while you get a feel for how it is to talk with me and ask any questions about my approach.

About me and my therapy practice
I hold a CPCAB Accredited Clinical Supervision qualification and bring to my supervisory work the same culturally responsive, relational approach that underpins my clinical practice.
As a supervisor, I offer a supportive and collaborative space for trainees, counsellors and psychotherapists to examine their practice, deepen their understanding, and cultivate a confident professional identity.
I believe effective supervision is a journey of shared inquiry, a space to reflect on the nuances of client work, navigate ethical considerations, and attend to the broader contexts that shape our practice. Our sessions will provide a confidential space to sit with challenges, celebrate growth, and develop strategies that align with your own values and style.
My approach is relational and integrative, drawing on humanistic and psychodynamic perspectives. We will attend to the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship, including transference and countertransference, while remaining curious about the wider systemic and societal forces at play. My aim is a supervisory relationship grounded in honesty, mutual respect, and a genuine commitment to your development as a practitioner.

My experience as Clinical Lead for a global health organisation, where I oversee a large team of counsellors and psychotherapists, directly informs my supervisory practice and gives me a broad understanding of the challenges practitioners face across diverse settings.
I also work for a large mental health organisation, facilitating the development of trainee counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists, providing supervision to both students and qualified professionals, and maintaining a high standard of clinical care across the field.
