About me and my therapy practice
An experienced registered clinical Psychotherapist and Counsellor working with teenagers and adults. I work online nationally using video or in-person. I create a calm, safe and confidential environment where you can think aloud without being judged, and we can identify and explore issues that may be affecting you.
Navigating life's complexities can sometimes leave us feeling lost or disconnected. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore your experiences, understand current challenges, and foster deeper self-awareness. Whether you're navigating a life transition, processing past events, or simply seeking a more meaningful connection with yourself, I'm here to help. As a culturally responsive therapist, I warmly welcome individuals from all backgrounds to explore their unique experiences, including those related to cultural identity, race, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. You'll find a safe, respectful, and confidential environment to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
The therapeutic process provides a structured space for this exploration. I work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, helping you connect these patterns to your life experiences. This process can help you illuminate how past events shape present realities.
Through our work together, I will utilise tools to challenge unhelpful narratives, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and cultivate resilience. It's about empowering individuals to re-author their stories, not by erasing the past, but by changing their relationship to it.
Ultimately, therapy can empower you to construct a more coherent and meaningful understanding of yourself and your place in the world, leading to greater emotional well-being, more fulfilling relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Dan. I am an experienced registered Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Clinical Supervisor. I provide a calm, safe, and confidential online space for both individuals and fellow practitioners to 'think aloud' without judgement.
Navigating life's complexities - or the demands of a clinical caseload - can often leave us feeling disconnected. I work collaboratively to help you identify patterns, challenge unhelpful narratives, and foster a deeper sense of self-awareness.
As a culturally responsive and GSRD-affirmative practitioner, I warmly welcome individuals from all backgrounds. I have a particular interest in exploring unique lived experiences related to cultural identity, race, gender, sexual identity, and belonging.
Practice description
My approach is informed by extensive experience in both private and public healthcare, alongside research into mindfulness and meditation in Southeast Asia. By blending modern psychotherapeutic theory with ancient perspectives on wellbeing, I offer a unique, integrative framework.
I provide a restorative and developmental space for fellow practitioners. I am particularly passionate about supporting practitioners navigating the nuances of power, privilege, and identity within their own clinical work.
My first session
It is completely natural to feel nervous about starting therapy or supervision. I offer a free initial 30-minute consultation online. This is an opportunity for us to discuss your goals, explore what brings you to therapy or supervision, and see how it feels for us to work together. There is no obligation; it’s simply a space for you to ask questions and see if I am the right fit for your journey.
