About me and my therapy practice

Choosing a therapist is a big decision, and it can be hard to know where to start. My aim is to make that first step easier: to offer a space that feels calm, consistent, and safe enough for you to speak openly, without fear of judgement.

I don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. While specific trainings inform how I work, I adapt my approach to what feels most helpful for you, at this point in your life. I believe meaningful change grows out of the relationship between therapist and client, so I place that relationship at the centre of the work.

My training is in psychodynamic and interpersonal psychotherapy (MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; Postgraduate Diploma in Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents), alongside further training in health and wellbeing coaching and eco-psychotherapy. I keep adding to this toolkit, and I usually work integratively and relationally — drawing on whichever elements best suit the person in front of me, rather than fitting the person to a model.

I've worked with children, adolescents, and adults, across private practice, the NHS, and charity settings. I've also worked in clinical research, delivering psychedelic-assisted therapy within clinical trial: an experience that continues to shape how I think about change, meaning, and healing.

Living and working across different countries and contexts has shaped my commitment to working inclusively and with cultural sensitivity - with an ongoing awareness that everyone arrives with their own background, perspective, and lived experience. I try to bring warmth, sensitivity, and curiosity to every new therapeutic relationship.

Practice description

My aim is to be reliable and respectful of whatever you choose to bring to the therapeutic space. I may offer insights here and there and encourage you to think about your own supports and resources you may already have in place or may be able to lean on. We then may be able to explore the options you may have in any given situation and see where, if you choose to do so, there may be room for change or growth.

I'm particularly experienced in supporting people through change and transition: questions of identity and belonging, loss, relationships, self-esteem, low mood, anxiety, and navigating bias or stigma. But every client brings their own story, and I feel comfortable meeting you wherever you're at.

We can work in both short or longer term interventions and some clients may prefer to have more structured 'goals' from the therapy. Regardless, I believe it is important to review the work periodically, to reflect on what feels helpful and what may need to change.
