Please get in touch to arrange a convenient time for in-person or online therapy. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. You are welcome to make contact even if you are unsure whether counselling is right for you at this point; an initial conversation can help you decide whether my way of working feels like a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor and therapist offering individual therapy to adults. I provide a calm, reflective space for people experiencing life transitions — times when an old way of living or understanding oneself no longer feels right, but what comes next is not yet clear. These moments can arise at many stages of life, from leaving home and early adulthood, through midlife changes, to retirement and later life.

I often work with people whose difficulties are experienced in the context of relationships — with partners, family members, colleagues, or themselves — and who may notice patterns repeating or a growing sense of uncertainty about who they are or what they want. These struggles are often accompanied by anxiety, low mood, or loss of confidence.

My way of working supports change without pressure. I do not offer advice or tell clients what they should do. Instead, I work collaboratively and reflectively, helping clients explore their experiences from different perspectives so they feel better able to recognise what matters to them and what, if anything, they may wish to change. Any change that emerges is considered, manageable, and unfolds at the client’s pace.

Alongside my general practice, I have undertaken additional training in ADHD and have experience supporting clients to reflect on and make sense of a diagnosis, particularly where this forms part of a wider life transition or shift in identity. This work is therapeutic and reflective rather than coaching-based.

I also have a particular interest in working with trainee counsellors and therapists, offering a non-judgemental space to explore the personal and professional challenges that training can bring.

Practice description

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and adapt my way of working to each individual. I work relationally and reflectively, with attention to patterns, meaning and context rather than offering advice or solutions.

Working together, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, particularly where difficulties arise in the context of relationships, identity or periods of transition. Feelings such as anxiety, low mood or confusion often accompany times of change, and having space to explore these experiences can be an important part of understanding what is happening for you.

I listen carefully to what you choose to share and use gentle, thoughtful questions to help you see your experiences from different perspectives. This process can support greater self-understanding and help you feel better equipped to recognise what you may wish to change, always at a pace that feels right for you.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy. I will listen carefully to what you hope to gain from counselling, and we will think together about whether my way of working feels right for you. There is no expectation that you arrive with clear goals or know where to start.

I understand that meeting a therapist for the first time can feel daunting. I aim to offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely and at your own pace. While I do not offer advice, I work actively and reflectively, helping you explore your experiences from different perspectives so that any change can feel considered, manageable, and led by you.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call prior to booking a first session. This call is a chance for you to briefly outline what is bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and hear more about how I work. It is also an opportunity for us both to consider whether we feel this could be a good fit. There is no obligation to continue after this call.

If you would like to arrange an introductory call, please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If we decide to work together, sessions are usually weekly, last 50 minutes, and cost £75 per session. Therapy works best when it takes place on a regular basis, and I ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Where possible, I will try to offer an alternative appointment within the same week, though this cannot be guaranteed.

I am based in Fulham for face-to-face sessions. Online sessions are also available.

If you are looking for a therapist who can help you navigate life’s challenges and reflect on patterns in your relationships or sense of self, I invite you to get in touch. I work with both short-term issues and longer-term therapy, depending on what feels most helpful for you.

I offer a free 20-minute telephone call to discuss your situation and help you decide whether my approach may be right for you. I am based in Fulham for face-to-face sessions and also offer online therapy.
